I hate when keyboards crap out.

I just don't like having to rub my stylus all over the screen... it leaves marks.

TNA was pretty great back in the day, the matches were excellent and varied and the wrestlers were pretty awesome... and they had some top old schoolers like Sting, Jeff Jerrett, Hogan, Kevin Nash, Raven, Scott Steiner among others...

I liked ECW for their lack of DQ rulesets... made matches VERY interesting. Never knew what would be used as a weapon next lol also, crowds just handed objects to wrestlers and used them as weapons.

not only can they look like them but yes, their moves and taunts and finishers and entrances are all able to be added... most of the time pretty accurately... but it varies per game a little...

You can make the belts in most of the games but not all of them... and the creation tools vary year to year. Same with arenas. The best part of current titles is the ability to add any picture, logo, emblem or anything really via website upload tools that download to your game... or you could always just download other people's uploads. The only downside is you can only download 20 things a day. I download a LOT of stuff when I start new games so it takes some time lol

The stats can be freely edited to whatever you want. Low or high.

I am trying to work on my backlog but I keep adding to it as well lol

nope, I honestly never watched any of them be played.

TNA was good competition until WWE poached almost all their best guys... but yea, lack of competition has really caused stagnation.

official inclusion in WWE games is basically just a suggestion since the customization allows for literally ANYONE to be made and added to the game. The current gen systems even have the option to download other people's creations which makes the process SOOOOO much easier lol I have like 100 downloaded guys/gals and almost every WCW, ECW and impact arena, belt and even a few extra thingies in all my current gen games. and of course, I make my own "me" lol

in my case, my time has gone mostly to gaming. sadly because it's all I have left now lol oh well.

admittedly, I've never actually played Catz or Dogz. those were entirely played by my daughter lol I even had an extra Catz I just gave to a friends' niece. it was cart only thus not worth much so it felt right to just give it away.

back in the WCW days wrestling was still awesome... now a days it's just all talk and everyone looks and acts the same. it's really very boring. and there's much less variations in matches... luckily the games now let you put whatever wrestler you want into the game and even customize your shows, arenas and ppvs. you can really relive the glory days.

I still can't believe I've been here 10 years... I can barely believe the site has been around that long.

I actually looked into it since my last reply, the VR set comes with or without the move controllers but both have the camera. I suggest doing the one with the controllers unless you already have them. some VR games don't require them though but they all have the option to use them.
As for the volume, yes, there is a control for how loud or soft it is.

I wouldn't say they are worse, it's just that they went with SD characters like other games at the time in Japan... but they decided US audiences weren't ready for SD characters in a game yet.

I actually picked up those two in a lot with a few other games I already had and some parts I needed to replace and some I didn't lol I think the total for the lot was about 200... I ended up selling off the extra games and brought my out of pocket to like 60. plus, I got 10% ebay bux when I bought it so it was a really good deal.

I... uhhh... like... pet related games lol well, some of them... but most were donations to my collection from my daughter.
I've at least TRIED every game I've picked up for collection purposes. I've even found a few that were fun despite the dubious stigmas on them... including a few kiddy games like Barbie and the like.

I noticed you have WWE Crush Hour. I know you're not a wrestling fan but as a fan of Twisted Metal games, you might want to give that a try.

thanks! I really hadn't noticed... *sigh* it makes me feel extra old lol

my gaming PC powerhouse was built by my moms co-worker who builds gaming PCs as a side business. I am not good enough at taking things apart and putting them together to risk doing it myself... I bought all the parts for it off Amazon individually though. I think it was around 2.5k total. it can run anything I own (compatibility not withstanding) with ease. and I have a lot of Steam, Origin and Windows Store games. as for the VR games, I've only got a couple from each 1st party storefront and a handful from Steam.

I have not had that issue. I rarely have updates... and when I do, they just wait till I decide to turn off or restart on my own... sounds like you have an actual hardware issue maybe...

I would guess if you get one new, it most likely would have the camera and move controllers in tow. I'm not sure they sell the headset without them... I'm just being cautious.
The sounds (and picture) only come through the headset, you can plug anything that uses a standard headphone jack but using nothing is definitely not recommended.

truth be told, my Panic Bomber is the Japanese version. same thing though... unlike the VPB95. I own both the US and Jap versions of the game (all complete) the Japanese version has different sprites for the players... they aren't as realistic. And yes, I do believe I got them all off ebay... many, many years ago. the only recent additions to my collection are Waterworld and Wario Land.

I feel yea, I started learning Japanese in high school to play anime based games that never made their way to the US so I have a lot of imports as well but I also never finished learning... I guess I pretty much topped out at learning basic menu text lol

I also have some games I got that I really have 0 interest in... but it happens when you collect I guess.

VR ready builds are still not standard... it's more of something you have to actually look for or have built.
I got into Windows 10 after a using it for a while. I do like that I can get Xbox games and achievements via Windows 10 as well.

the PSVR set SHOULD come with the headset, the camera and 2 move controllers. (and some other accessories and wires.) It comes with earbuds but I opted for my own headphones that are noise cancelling and very comfortable. I've never been fond of earbuds.

this generation of games, the disc is basically just a "CD key" to unlock the installed game... so, no, there's no way to bypass it.

oh cool! I have a game you don't! I have a complete Red Alarm lol the only game I'm still looking for for VB is SD Gundam Dimension war but I'm not willing to pay what it sells for... I mean, I don't read enough Japanese for it to be very enjoyable anyway...

Speaking of Japanese, I see you by a lot of Japanese games, do you read the language or are they just collection padding?

true, those extra earnings deals are pretty untimely but I try to make use of them when possible.

"VR Ready" is a dedicated port and card. My PC was built to run that... and truth be told, you may want to avoid PC VR gaming as there's no physical copies of games... the PSVR though, you can pick up physical discs (and a few free digital DLs) the space requirements for PSVR aren't too bad but it all depends on where you can stick your camera thing... I barely get mine to register my movements from the distance from my TV to my bed so it kinda worked I just needed to get in a specific position to get it to register me enough to enjoy some VR gaming. the actual software it requires on your console is pretty much nil. the only thing that takes up space is the installing of games.

I think a lot of the "headache" from VB was probably just people spreading something they heard happened without actually trying it. that tends to happen a lot in the gaming industry... people can be so divisive... pretty much as much as politics. maybe more so... Sega always tended to get the brunt of it... and don't even get me started on how much undue hate was hurled at Ngage... which most people wouldn't even give it a look let alone a try. I digress... maybe you'll have a good time with your VB. I enjoyed mine... especially since I picked up new games for it... for years all I had was Mario Tennis and Baseball 95. neither were BAD games but they get old easily.

and I got 10% back as ebay bux lol

my suggestion is if you have a good vr ready computer, get a Vive. it can run both the occulus and vive games with a slight software mod the exception being Rock Band VR which requires a bit more hardware than just the standard controllers.
I prefer console gaming which is why I got the PSVR in the first place. the only downside to VR is that you need a decent amount of empty space... I don't really have that. I had just enough to work with but not enough to keep the sensors where I would get the best use out of them so I basically need to set them up per use.... sad about that... I'm lazy lol

truth be told, I haven't ever gotten so much as a headache from VB... I know it's a thing most people get but I guess I'm just used to crazy lights in places lol. it's actually very odd cuz I do get migraines regularly.

I do have one, and a slew of games for it. I picked it up about $75 under MSRP thanks to ebay and it came with the move controllers, VR Worlds and Skyrim VR. I was completely disappointed in that particular title though... which is sad, cuz I like Elder Scrolls games. it's a pretty sweet setup. but I'm not the best judge of what's worth what, I have an Occulus and a Vive as well... 3 different VR setups in my game room lol I have a virtual boy as well, but that hardly counts.

Being a Gamestop employee is very hard due to corporate policies, yes. But I got a lot of retro stuff cheap cuz Gamestop didn't take it and people wanted to unload it. Also, being a manager had perks like requesting shipments of games - specifically older ones, it's how I got so many ngage games. all at like 1-5 dollars a piece new. it's also why I have a lot of disc only Dreamcast, PS1 and Saturn games that were like a dollar or less. Overall though, Gamestop is the devil. Even if I wasn't blacklisted from them, I still would never work for them again.

I have all my disc only games in CD wallets... it keeps them relatively safe considering I really don't use most of them. I've upgraded a number of them to "complete" over the years but I still have a lot of them... I even just got a BUNCH more a few months ago when an old friend donated his collection of disc only PS2 games to me.
I also have gotten a number of them from lots on ebay.

I actually go for most DLC that's offered... as long as it isn't JUST a cash grab. There are some DLCs that are just offensive to me but most are just additions to the story that extend the life of the game. Luckily a large portion of games later release a "complete" edition later that includes all the DLC. I tend to pick those up.

Yea, I don't understand Sony's attitude towards their 1st party stuff... it's frustrating... my PS3 controller only holds a charge for a couple hours now... I'm sure my PS4 one will be following suit soon.
Actually, the same problem happens with newer portable systems. the GBASP, DS family, PSP, PSVITA all suffer from only internal non-user changeable battery issues.

I'm really not going for any more complete libraries... just games I want and/or feel like playing. Between space and income I just can't afford to be a "collector" anymore

I actually have more complete (and probably even unopened) GBA games than cart only ones. That is mostly due to my time working as a manager at Gamestop where I would just buy the last unopened copy of everything we had lol

I only have 1 non-complete INTV game but it was free so I can't really complain... though I do have a few games on systems where I'm not happy with only having the disc/cart but replacing them is too hard so I make do even though it bugs me. My 2 PSP UMD only games come to mind.

I absolutely LOVE having shelves of games (in alphabetical order) but space has become a serious issue and ease of use as well. but I'm with you on tangibility being great. The biggest issue this gen and most likely next gen will be worse - there are so many games that are simply not available physically.

I more than likely would by any game priced at a dollar lol but I really don't get out much anymore... I mostly use Amazon and Ebay for all my needs.

It's not that I don't like wired controllers, in fact I love them. It's the fact that PS3 and PS4 don't have 1st party controllers that are actually wired - rather than just wireless controllers that eventually need to be wired to the console to work... it then requires a much longer cable than the ones provided when you buy the system. The ones that come with the system are shorter than a TG16 wire by a longshot. I would just like the OPTION to use batteries or at least switch out the internal one... basically as it is, you need to by a whole new controller or a much longer charging cable.

I've never been disappointed by any of the three series' before, I am very much hoping that streak continues. PS4 and Switch are me secondary systems so for the most part, I'm only getting physical copies of games for them (unless there isn't one available or it's WAY cheaper digitally) but with the Xbox One (my primary system) I've been going mostly digital... not entirely, but mostly. it's so much more convenient. Also, I usually wait for sales so it's cheaper but I also get Microsoft rewards points for every purchase that end up saving me 10-20ish dollars every time I redeem my points for Microsoft store credit.

One more thing, about PS4 (and PS3) controllers... they are internal battery only with no option to switch out the battery or use actual batteries so at some point they become unusable or wired only and that bugs the crap out of me. I forgot to mention that in my rant back when you asked about me liking Xbox more.

Sadly I am not much closer than I was a couple years ago. I am about 300 or so shy of a complete library. Physical copies on clearance have dried up in my area due to Amazon.. sooo I will probably never complete the library.
