In regards to your odd game titling where you don't use the celebrity names, it appears you don't do this consistently. I found in your original Xbox collection Tony Hawk, Tiger Woods, Ricky Carmichael, and Jamie Little, but no Tom Clancy!

I admit the way you take celebrity names out of the titles of some games is very different than the way I do it. I try to get the titles as accurate as possible according to the name of the game that appears on the cover and spine.
It looks like the hosting site I used for my banner is imgur.com.. Trip to Japan for video game hunting sounds awesome. Can't wait to hear what you find there..

Thanks for the kind words. Hope you continue to recover. There is no gaming conventions here really. Comic conventions and Anime conventions happen with the odd vender selling gaming stuff but it isn't the norm. I have just been hunting on FB market place and second hand stores. Seems to be lucky enough but I miss going to big conventions.
Work is good but I don't trust that they won't suddenly make everyone get a new shot to protect us from the 'unknown' evil that big pharma is going to save us from. If that happens again well I'll be back on the curb again looking for a new job. I will not submit to the pressure ever.

That is such great news about your health issues! That's amazing. So happy for you. Hope you don't have any more reoccurring issues with it. I'm so thankful for the days I have without health problems. Seems like so many people struggle with them.
Trudeau was unfortunately elected in 2021 when he called another election but ended up with a minority government so struck a deal with an normally-opposing party (New Democrat Party) so that he could get a majority when making changes in the House of Commons. Absolute BS that spits on the very idea of democracy. I'm sad for both Canada and the U.S. as we are being led by idiots who are nothing but pawns in an evil game of chess with the casualties being the middle-class folks like you and me. I just try to keep my head up and do anything I can to avoid being involved in the fear-based game that they want us to play. I really hope for all the truths to come out about the real reasons behind the propaganda that has littered our news for the last few years. Makes me ill.
That gaming exchange in Greenville sounds so good! reminds me a bit about PAX west that went to for years before COVID closed the border so I couldn't attend. So many cool exhibits and retailers of foreign games, plus vintage collections and collectibles. Love being surrounded by all of that. Makes me spend more money than I make I've resigned myself to purchasing through local channels or through online purchases.

Ouch...Kidney stone issues are no fun. Brutal. Hope it gets cleared up sooner than later! I think its clear that we both think Biden and Trudeau are idiot captains that are trying to sink our respective ships as fast as possible. Too much connects all this idiocy to the aims of the WEF to ignore it or think it is coincidence. So difficult to find out what the truth is any more sadly. The wait for us to get rid of our traitor Prime Minister is 2025! So awful to wait that long. Trying to make the best of everything in the meantime.
PlayAsia is expensive but I have now ordered over 20 items and they have all arrived with good shipping materials and nothing has ever been damaged. The wait time to get some items has been longer than I've liked but usually not too delayed. They have some neat games and English-Asia type releases that are unique and very collectible.
Hope you can get some health relief soon and continue to have some luck when finding new games that you don't have! I'll keep you up to date with any other changes to my work or life and please do the same! Cheers KG

You are right when you say Biden is an bumbling fool and is destroying the economy. We have a 'Biden' up here named Justin Trudeau and he might not babble but he is as much a fool. Sorry to hear about your health being an issue for you. Hope that can be something that can get better! As for PlayAsia it isn't cheap at all but it is one of the main places to get games only released in Asia that have English subtitles. I dig that stuff and it never loses its value. Speaking of masks, my work finally dropped the mask mandate but for how long know one knows. I don't trust anything that Canada Post does or the politics in Canada as it stands now. I see you feel the same way and for good reason. Hoping everyone wakes up to what's happening to our world instead of woking up...

Hey KG! Sorry for the really late response. I haven't been on here much as I haven't had a lot of new purchases except for some PlayAsia online buys that I shouldn't be doing lol. I have been back to work now for three weeks. I folded a bit and attested to their practice and have been fighting it on the grounds of a Human Rights accommodation. Without attesting they don't let you work. It's all a big joke. The good news is they are soon allowing folks back who have been on Leave Without Pay and have removed the requirement to wear masks. I don't trust they will stay this way forever but I'll enjoy the sanity while it lasts. Thanks for checking in on me. I'm doing ok, but just don't like the way the world is looking.
