Minion of Bak'laag: 100+ unfinished games
On Fire: 3 beat or complete in a row
Oh that's great to hear! I really enjoyed A Link to the Past! That's definitely it! The series as a whole, especially A Link to the Past is really about exploration and the adventure. The puzzles are a lot of fun and really make that game special.

I have played Link's Awakening and Minish Cap and I can definitely say both are a lot of fun! Minish Cap is definitely an underrated game! Although it may be a little overrated, Ocarina of Time is still a wonderful game and definitely worth your time when you feel like playing a 3D Zelda. My favourite is still Majora's Mask but I would recommend playing the others first.

That's awesome! I think you'll really enjoy it! It's probably a good idea to wait and be completely refreshed so that you can fully enjoy it! I think you'll like doing Trial of the Sword a lot!

Speaking of Zelda, I see you're playing A Link to the Past! How are you enjoying it so far?

Yup, I finally did! Four and a half months, and 145 hours of gameplay later, I finally did what I consider to be a complete run. I absolutely loved it! I think it's between Breath of the Wild and Majora's Mask as to which is my favourite in the series. I loved every moment of it, and I didn't get tired of it at any point! I didn't bother doing all the Korok seeds (only actually got 94) or any real progress on the compendium, so I stayed away from the two most tedious things haha. I also didn't bother with Master I think steering clear of those things are why I never got tired of it. I thought it was an incredible game though! The final boss fight was brilliant.

I enjoyed the Champion's Ballad. I thought it was worth it. Basically it's got 16 new shrines, you get to re-fight each Blight Ganon with restrictions, you get a sort of 5th divine beats and a wicked boss fight. Overall it gets you 4 more spirit orbs so you can get an additional hear or stamina metre, a new cut scene for each champion as well as a 5th cut scene with all of them, powers up each champions ability so they take 1/3 of the time to re-charge and you get a motorcycle. I personally really enjoyed it, and would recommend it to anyone who wants a little more of the game! I think paying the one price to get all the DLC is definitely worth it!

Glad to hear it! I should be getting to it soon! I've got 7 more sidequests to take care of before I have all of those finished, then it's on to Champion's Ballad! I'll definitely let you know my thoughts on that one once I finish it!

As for Trial of the Sword, it is basically like the Cave of Ordeals in Twilight Princess, and the Savage Labyrinth (which, funny enough, as not a labyrinth) in Windwaker. If you're not familiar with those, it's basically a gauntlet of enemies. You'll have a marathon of floors, with each one containing different enemies, and you need to beat all the enemies on the floor to advance to the next! Trial of the Sword puts a twist on it though. You start with absolutely nothing, no weapons, armour, shields, food, champions abilities, ANYTHING. Only you and your runes. The first floors are easy enough, basically 3 red bokoblins, you can climb a tree, throw a bomb and be done, then pick up some swords and other stuff.

It's broken down into 3 sections: The Beginnings Trials, the Middle Trials and the Final Trials. Beginning trials are 12 floors with 1 rest floor, middle trials are 16 floors with 2 rest floors and final trials are 23 floors with 3 rest floors. Beating the beginning trials powers your master sword up to 40 power, middle to 50 and final to 60 and keeps it fully charged at all times (like when you're in the presence of guardians, so basically it can survive 180 hots before you need to recharge). It's pretty tough, and really makes you get good at all the different aspects of combat! I honestly had the toughest time with the beginning trials though haha. It can be tough, but it's super rewarding!

Ah nice! Good for you!

Well, I'm almost finished the first DLC pack, it comes with a handful of sidequests that mostly just get you pieces of armour from other games, Majora's Mask, etc. However the main part, Trial of the Sword, is pretty cool. It's hard as well, but if you want a challenge it's definitely worth it! I have 2/3 sections finished and I know this last one will be crazy hard! However you get your master sword at the full 60 power and 180 hits before it needs to recharge after doing it, so it will make fighting Enemies super easy after! I'll let you know once I do Champions Ballad if it's worth it!
