Yeah seems really short, I just got to 38% and I think I'm < 5 hours in. I like it though, reminds me of Mario 64 a bit, but in some respects better than. Although it's rated E it doesn't seem as kiddie as Mario (not that that's a bad thing).

Yeah I know, it is a crime. I do plan to play them all yes. I started Demon's Souls, and I really like it, but a friend of mine was bugging me to play Borderlands with him (which I did for a bit) and then Mass Effect, got in my way, and I've just not gotten back to it. Tho I do plan to this year. Hopefully.

I've liked what I've seen with WKC, so I'm sure I'll eventually get that one as well.

Haven't tried RGC yet, but it's definitely on the list for next year. A lot of my friends have been raving about the game for the past year and the stuff they've said about it are totally up my alley so once I pack away a few more games (probably Spirit Tracks, Shattered Memories and NSMBW) it's going into the DS and never coming out.

(If it does turn out to be disappointing, however... well, hopefully it shouldn't come to that but I know quite a few people who would be interested in a copy. )

I would not mind if you sucked and that you are only rank 1 or whatever. It's all good as long we all have fun. Besides, as long as you stick close to someone, you will begin to learn how to play strategically and well. Add me on PSN if you want HOWCOOLASN but I will not have my PS3 after the 20th (Will be going to another state for the holidays for 6 weeks) so if you did want to play, it has to be this coming week. I play co-op as well. I won't try to torture you though by asking to play co-op objectives in crushing. Heh.

Besides, practice makes perfect. No one is good right off the bat.

The single player was absolutely fantastic and I definitely will play through it again in the coming months. I played through it twice in two weeks to get the platinum and I could not get enough. I still love the first one as well. The series has definitely cracked my top 10 favorite series of all time.

In regards to Eternal Sonata, I have surpassed where you are. For the Tuba fight(s), guarding is essential. Furthermore, I realized that position is more important than anything in that battle. I used Fred, Viola, and Allegretto for that battle. Try to give them a triangle formation, where Fred is off in a corner (in sun) so he can be healing every turn. Make Tuba chase Allegretto around the field (does not matter if its light or dark) so Tuba will focus his attacks on him. Then, with Viola, just try to go in the opposite direction of Allegretto and have her aim an arrow or two quickly. Build the echo gauge but MAKE SURE that when Allegretto uses his attacks (whether it be Sky Divider or Void Edge) that it is NOT directed where Viola or Fred are. I tried to knock him into a corner. The reason why I set my strategy up like this is that many of Tuba's attack either have a large radius or go in a straight line. By making a triangle where everyone is pretty much off on their own, he won't be able to hit more than one character (preferably Allegretto). Be sure to have ANGEL TRUMPETS in your item set to revive if things go wrong. Hope this helps.

You started Uncharted 2! Sweet! Have a great time playing it. It's only one of my favorite games, if you could not tell by my icon and banner.

If you ever want to play Uncharted 2 MP, let me know. I still play at least once a week and I like to think I'm good.

Anyways, I have made a bit more progress in Eternal Sonata. I think you're a bit farther than me but who knows... The entire game seems to be focused on getting into Forte Castle. I have to say that the story sucks and the only redeeming factor is the battle system. While the music is okay, many of the tracks remind of songs Sakuraba used in many of his other games (Valkyrie Profile, Star Ocean, Tales of...) Also, I feel like the Chopin sections are just an add-on. They don't contribute to the narrative at all.

Thanks! Retro Game Challenge is a game I've been meaning to pick up for a long, long time, so here's hoping it's as fun as everyone says it is.

(Totally a late reply, but better late than never, right?)

Thanks for the detailed summary of 3d Dot Heroes btw. From what you say, it sounds like I would not like it either.

In regards to Eternal Sonata, I believe I'm a bit too early in the game to pass any sort of judgment. I did play it via-stream last night, so you could actually watch me comment on it if you desired. [Link] I am playing it from 7 PM EST to 9 PM EST.. I was eating dinner during the introduction so the clanking will stop after the first few minutes. Haha. Well if you don't want to watch it, then I'll just explain my thoughts below...

Anyways, the battle system seems neat, even though it seems like a simplified system of Valkyrie Profile 2's with a time gauge on the side. Story seems whatever. Voice acting is questionable. I only played it for 2 hours so I just got out of the introduction. I could leave you a more informed opinion once I clock in a few more hours.

On the other hand, it is very nice to have, what seems to be, a rather traditional RPG on this generation's consoles.

Hello hello.

I saw you have 3D Dot Heroes? I assume you imported? Your thoughts? I saw the English trailer and it looks rather cute but it did not show any of the game play.

Maybe I'll pass on Dokapon. Only one map? It looked like it could be fun so I figured if I ever found it on the cheap I'd get it.
