Hmm.

I'd say 100% kills and hidden secrets aren't needed. That'd be like requiring you find every hidden bonus in a Mario game. No one counts that for .

I do think you need all the secret levels though. Secret levels are basically want was made for!

Best endings are generally counted towards completion, so I do count the suitless endings in Metroid for it.

Exception being if the speed-run required is crazy fast and would be material, then it's okay to ignore it for . (Some of the gallery unlocks in Zero Mission would definitely qualify)

Awesome Laputa/Bomberman banner you got there!

Continuing on from Three_Leaf_ivy's comment.

I have tons of JRPGs, so I've developed a system for dealing with them. I generally divide the accomplishments into four categories: Story, Content, Collection, and Challenge.

Story accomplishments are things that are done through a normal playthrough of a game. This includes things like beating the final boss and finishing every chapter.

Content accomplishments are not required for the main story, but contain plot important information or other side objectives. This would include things like full side-quest completion, post-game content, and bonus material.

Collection accomplishments are based around getting 100% of everything in a game. This can include things like catching every Pokemon, collection of every weapon or item, or unlocking every audio-log.

Finally, Challenge accomplishments are post-content things you can do to make a game more difficult. This includes playing on higher difficulty levels, defeating bonus bosses, attempting speed runs, or playing though the game handicapped.

When deciding which accomplishments count for ,, or for a game, I generally break it up like this.

- All Story Accomplishments

- All Content Accomplishments plus some Challenge or Collection accomplishments depending on the game

- Almost all accomplishments completed. Anything that makes playing the game tedious or boring will be avoided. Also, anything that doesn't really make sense (like trying to speed run through a 80+ hour JRPG) will also be avoided.

Here's an example (a breakdown of my Valkyria Chronicles run)

-Complete all story chapters
-View final credits

-Complete all story chapters with "A" rank
-Complete all bonus chapters with "A" rank
-Complete all Skirmishes with "A" rank
-All classes are at level cap (20)
-All weapons and tank upgrades bought
-All orders learned

-No casualties
-All hidden characters recruited
-All hidden ace weapons acquired

Avoided Accomplishments
-All medals (requires you to permanently kill one character, thus making a "no casualty" run impossible)
-All character reports completed (requires you to kill and then revive every character in the game, tedious and requires no skill or effort)
-Speed Run (Your mission rank is determined by the number of turns taken, so getting all A ranks is essentially already a test of speed and strategy)

Sorry about the massive text wall, but I hope this helps you set up your own system.
Congraturations! You reach, end of Gary_Oak's Backroggery. Help him beat Bak'laag must you!
