I did have about a year between the last time I played my PS2 version and the HD version. Still, I didn't have any trouble with any Colossus in the game. There obviously is a difference if so many people say their is, but I never felt it made the game frustrating. I've beaten the HD version multiple times and I'm just not seeing why people are having such huge issues.

Edit: Also I think you might be confused. The PS3 version is the PAL version. The PAL version was supposedly much harder with the grip. This is why North American players (and everyone else not in PAL regions) are having trouble adapting.

It's weird, I never noticed the increased difficulty that the HD versions had because they are based on the PAL versions. If anything I had an easier time with the HD versions because I knew the strategy to beat them.

I kinda hate stretch goals, it's like ultra expensive DLC. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait till it's out, with the Autumn Steam Sale and other Kickstarter that haven't reached their goal. I just can't pay for it now.

I'm pretty happy it made it though. It's strange how most Kickstarters seems to start at the same time, we have a Dizzy Returns and one with Pendelton Ward right now.
