Yeah, that's also true. I asked 3 years ago back when the site went offline for several days if there was going to be an export feature once the remake releases, but drumble just told me "Probably not at launch as I just want to get the remake out at this point, but that's my top priority after the dust settles post release.". So yeah, don't expect it soon at all. Honestly if I ever find a substitute and it has some way to import data, I'd probably just write a quick script to export my data.

Worst of all is that this remake has been in the works for a decade now. I remember when the current site was done, it was something temporary because drumble really wanted to make the site responsive and mobile friendly. After people complained a bit about the remake being late for years, he released ONLY the main page as a teaser, like "hey I want to get the remake out but it's gonna take a bit longer so instead of just making you wait more I'll release it bit by bit". That went nowhere, obviously. At this point I'm just afraid that whatever he releases (if he ever does) is also outdated as all hell.

Damn, I can really feel the facebook vibes from ludomedia but it's actually pretty cool tbh. I've actually tried like half a dozen clones, and it's a mixed bag. Most of them use their own game database so if you're playing something niche you have to wait until they approve it, and most of them don't really focus on user interaction if they even have any.

I don't usually have the patience for shmups so I don't really play them that much but I have tried a few of the endless amounts of fangames. I've read a few of the mangas and some of the music CD stories though.

Nice Touhou theme! I haven't played a ton of them but it's an interesting series.

Ohh, that's nice, I've been getting into Touhou lately again and I want to read all that extra stuff that has been released along the years so that's another thing to look forward to!
