In general: In most cases, I don't really give a digit about optics (Retro/2D/3D) regarding games - if a game works it's because the gameplay and story are fitting, not because of the optics - that's what I think.
5 Stars: Rating 10-9 => Would definitely play again. Story & Gameplay are in sync, can't say what's better, both are astounding and a far cry above anything else. Definitley worth recommending to friends.
4 Stars: Rating 8.5-7 => Would probably play again. Great game, had fun, but either the Story or the Gameplay is worse compared to its counterpart. Would most likely recommend to friends.
3 Stars: Rating 6.5-5 => Would play again under certain circumstances. Either the Story or the Gameplay is strictly worse compared to its counterpart or one's top-notch, the other rock-bottom. Recommendation to friends depends a lot on the game.
2 Stars: Rating 4.5-3 => Won't probably play again. Both Story and Gameplay are either plain awful or simply badly implemented. There are good aspects about those games as well, but those are either rare or very specific. No recommendation for friends.
1 Star: Rating 2.5-0.5 => Won't ever play again. It's hard to tell what's even good about the game, and one can't separate a bad story and a bad gameplay anymore because the game is just bad in general. other reasons for games to get 1 star are horribly bad design decisions or constant crashes. No recommendation for friends at all.
No Rating: Rating 0 => This is either "playing right now" or "I fully regret even looking at this game for [insert any reason here]".
Cheers!
