I too played a lot of the ME3 multiplayer. mostly to get my readiness up... but it was fun. but I only played Andromeda single player...

Hey there, sorry for the late reply.

I feel you about having no time to play. Adulting sucks. When I do have gaming time, I've been trying to focus on my PS3 backlog.

My brother was kind enough to buy me a PS5 (and two games for it) earlier this year but I haven't had the time nor desire to set it up; I have enough games to get through on PS3 and PS4. But with Spider-Man 2 coming out, I just might have to set up the PS5 for that lol. I thoroughly enjoyed the first one and Miles Morales (still haven't that one). Also, the Dead Space remake has been calling to me.

But yeah, I'm doing as well as I can. I lost my cat (my baby) in May 2022 after three months of battling her health issues (still getting over this loss), and now this year (starting last month in August) my father is on hospice and declining, so my mental health has not been the best, but I'm trying to "endure and survive", get through it all. Gaming has been a nice respite, when I am able to play.

a lot of people gave Mass Effect: Andromeda a lot of heat but I thought it was a pretty great game... sucks we never got the DLC or sequel due to all the hate though... especially since it ended with a cliffhanger.

Forgot to mention that compared to a lot of the profiles I have on my PSN friends list, my 300 platinums is small. I have a friend that has over 1000 platinums.

(unobtainable Platinums for me) It's quite a few. Off the top of my head:

- MAG (I REALLY wish I could have gotten this one)
- SOCOM Confrontation (I didn't do any progress/trophies toward this one, but it hurts for me)
- Tom Clancy's EndWar (One of the trophies became unobtainable and I can't go back to it)
-Lost Planet 2 (Some hacker screwed up the leaderboards making the Platinum unobtainable)
- UFC Undisputed 2010
- Friday The 13th (developers put a patch that literally broke trophies and are too stupid to go back and fix it)
- Guitar Hero Live (plastic instrument I was using literally broke in my hands and it was too late to get a new one)
- Pro Evolution Soccer 2015 (got screwed over by a trophy booster for this who offered to help me and disappeared after he got his stuff done)
- FIFA 15 (I couldn't connect to anyone for some of the online trophies and it would have errors when I did multiplayer matches)
- Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark PS3 / Transformers Fall of Cybertron PS4 (I didn't take advantage of it and some idiot friend of mine on PSN would message me for me to help him capture video for his YouTube page. He hasn't been online since then)
- Rayman Legends PS3 / Rayman Legends Vita (Ubisoft have taken the servers down without an announcement)

Thank you for the compliments on my 3DS collection! I’m pretty proud of it, having what I consider to be the best titles for the platform. 🙂 It has been really amazing spending some more quality time with all my 3ds consoles in the last few weeks. Lately, all I do is play Switch games and read a ton of visual novels. 😄

For Professor Layton Vs. Phoenix Wright, you must complete the game first. I believe it’s about
25 hours long… so best to get cracking, if interested.

yeah, it's part management sim, part design sim, and filled with "minigames" that cover every genre of game. it's a great series that I wish we'd get another one of. getting it for free is a good deal for sure.

Can you believe we live in a time where something like Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure can get a rerelease? I remember seeing that on X-Play in a segment showing off terrifying singing in video games, from Lunar 1 PSX to that one coloring monster raising game on PS2 to... you guessed it, Rhapsody. To it's credit, a used copy is pretty pricy, but I can't help but wonder how the songs would hold up, unless it has that postmodern way of thinking "it's so full of '90s cheese, I love it! So bad it's good!" Either way, it's still weird seeing it rereleased.

Essentially, Overwatch 2 is coming out and the servers for the original Overwatch are being rolled into the new game. It's not known if the original trophy list will still work but based on what's been said, it's likely for all to be unobtainable.

My dude. I hate it.

At first it was kind of nice. Like a little routine that takes a couple minutes every few hours. I have several 3DSes, so I put it on one of my less used ones and would deal with it. I figured, hey, this'll take two-three weeks or so.

I'm over a month in and now I've tied up yet another 3DS. I just want it to be over. I want to play other games, but I'm afraid to mess with the dumb clock system in the 3DS and don't want to remove the games from it for fear of screwing up the whole process.

I dunno what the good folks at Game Freak were thinking with this whole Honey Tree thing. Unbelievably obtuse and frustrating.

Single player Nintendo Land has been interesting...

I have only played Legend of Zelda - Battle Quest, which is shockingly hard if you are using the tablet. You are an archer, so waves of enemies come after you and can easily overwhelm you. Also, you can play only for a few short hours as the tablet's battery life is drained rather quickly. If you have a Wii Motion Plus controller, you can play as the Swordsman, so maybe that is easier.

It's my first WiiU game, so I figured it would be appropriate to try it out. I think I picked it up for less than $20, so that is a plus!

***EDIT*** On second thought, nope, I'm done. It is insane the amount of stuff I would need to do to get credits, so I am good.

But, you were so close to beating your Backlog!

I will be taking some time off to enjoy my quiet Backlog to replay some classics.
But, trust me, in the coming Months, I will be buying many new games to play.
This is just temporary!
