I enjoyed Hyrule Warriors, but I don't think I enjoyed trying to do everything. I did most of the side missions along to way and things kind of wore out their welcome. Ended up somewhere in the 70% done range and just couldn't do it anymore. It was my first Warriors game. I suppose they are just hefty games in general. All the main content is really good though.

Congrats on Gaiares. I couldn't handle it but I do enjoy the audio and visuals of it. With any luck Ratalika Games can bring it to Switch and I can give it anuhthuh shot.

Dude, dude dude, they're localizing (and adding feature like speeding up and rewinding) NES Fire Emblem. That was unexpected.

If it proves successful, maybe other companies will start doing that. Imagine getting the first two Megami Tensei titles in a similar fashion. Wowzers.

I'm probably not the best person to ask about Yakuza. I do know that Yakuza Kiwami is pretty cheap nowadays, so it wouldn't be a huge loss if you got it. Oh, you already have it. Well, do go for it if you want more Yakuza.

I'm playing 1-6 over the course of time, plus 7 when it comes out.

It’s been a lot of fun! GOW3 Remastered was a great way to replay the game, as I hadn’t played it since it originally released. Ascension is not one of the better games in the series but still enjoyable. And the new GOW is easily the best game I’ve played this year so far. I finished the game and was going to go for the platinum but decided against it for now since it would require going back through with a guide for all of the collectibles. I may go back later and do that though. Really looking forward to seeing what they do with the next game now.

$35 is not cheap =(
They added the usual options and what not. Their interface is way better than the ACA Neo Geo games. Fake scanlines look way better.

The Limited Run print of Wonder Boy shouldn't be any different than the asian version that has english. There's also a physical version of it coming out in asia this year for Switch. If you really want the Limited Run version though, you should be able to get it for under $50 on ebay, though the collector's edition is way more. It has a reversible cover, one side is really similar to the Master System original box.

METROID MARATHON WEEK! Beat NES Metroid today, starting Zero Mission; after that is Metroid II..... planning to be done with those 3 by Friday when Samus Returns! (After that I will play AM2R, so I can deeply analyze the differences between remakes etc)
I have to say, I actually never beat NES Metroid. I never got into Metroid until 2002, in the pre-launch hype for Prime & Fusion I played Super Metroid the month prior. So I spent maybe an hour or two trying out NES Metroid as it was an unlockable on Metroid Prime. I found it to feel really clunky and dated after playing Super Metroid. I'm so glad I gave it another shot, because I found it WAY more enjoyable this time, it is still an amazing classic, had such a good time. Zero Mission's existence doesn't lessen the greatness of the original, and it was particularly amazing for how it propelled game design forward for it's time.

Started collecting PSVR titles. I am super interested in VR, just not willing to cough up the entry fee just yet; waiting for that to come down a little more first. But a bunch of PSVR games were dirt cheap, couldn't pass on them.

After putting a lot of time into Rodea the Sky Soldier on 3DS, I can safely say that I think it(and Wii U version, since they're basically the same) is actually a good game. It may not be as good as the Wii version it was based on, but if you can get past the learning curve with the controls, it's still really good. But it can take a few hours for it to truly "click".
