I can definitely see what makes it such a polarizing title in the fandom Linebeck is a joy to have in the game, he's been making me laugh quite a bit.

The one thing I wasn't expecting to love was the drawing on maps feature. I've been obsessed with jotting down little bits and pieces I need to, or want to remember!

I'm curious about To the Moon, I remember hearing a ton about it, loved the opening/ending song, and noticed a lot of Let's Players recording themselves just sobbing at the end..but I'm not sure what the plot is. What aspects of it are problematic?

Sorry about the break! I watched the trailer because I know I'm going to see the film when it comes to Disney+ or Netflix. I just have a weird soft spot for stupid films

I understand that, getting into something when the hype train left the station years ago sort of feels flat. Like you're riding the high of finding this wonderful thing, and then sort of realising that because you're so late to party, you've missed out on the magic. I haven't really felt that with the Vita, after hunting for over year and the wild way I obtained it, it's still a treasure. But I did recently start watching an anime I've been hearing about forever and while I've been loving it, I do wish I had been involved during the heyday.

I am SO excited for the two handheld Zeldas, they both seem to be really polarizing games within the community- you either like Phantom Hourglass...or you'd be fine with setting your copy on fire

I'm beyond irritated with both roles. I do agree with the majority of the internet that Nathan Fillion was the ideal casting for Nate, and to see them go SO young with Nate feels wrong. Unless they're going in a weird direction with "Nate's origin story". And Sully. So I already strongly dislike Mark Whalberg...so to cast him as my favourite character just drives me mad.

And to make myself even more annoyed, I just watched the trailer why did I do that?

Best of luck on your Vita hunt! Are you picky about which version you want? I spent over a year hunting for mine, but that was largely because I had some very specific requirements.

It's been such a blast! It's been really interesting! I love seeing a game evolve with the improvements in graphics, just seeing how Naughty Dog has improved the environment etc.

Exploring the ludonarrative dissonance in 2, and 3, and then seeing it dramatically changed in 4 has also been really interesting. Before I knew of the concept, I was joking with friends that it is hilarious to see Nate described as a fun guy, who always tends to do the right thing even in a morally grey way when not 30 seconds earlier...I mowed down 60 people with 0 effort

And I started just in time to be annoyed by the casting for the film!

I love it so far. I'm playing it on original hardware and a CRT and it holds up surprisingly well. Especially the controls and even the camera controls are decent. It's also funny that I use inverted controls on modern systems which I always have to manually set in options, but they seem to have been the default back then.

I had low expectations for the final season. Especially since the studio literally closed before finishing the final season. I expected a quick and sloppy ending. Like they just needed to finish it so they could sell the entire season, but it was really great, ending included. I kept hoping Clem was still alive and actually seeing it happen made me so happy. They handled it really well and it made sense since this season was all about teaching AJ how to survive and him making his own decisions.

I think for most people the third TWD season will be the weakest entry in the series. I did enjoy it but found the direction a little disappointing. I'm not gonna spoil anything, but I can definitely tell you the fourth season will pick up the pace again and I was happy with how the series ended.

I've always found stress is one of those things that casts a shadow over everything I do. Video games I find I just don't pay enough attention and find myself thinking the game is terrible. Art goes right out the window as well. Hopefully your A level revisions went well!

It's a shame Ages was a bit broken, I found the games to be a bit fiddly at times and there were a couple moments where I thought I'd broken the game as well. I do recommend playing Ages before Seasons, I found it make the linked portion of the game made playing Seasons much smoother.

Link's Awakening I haven't played yet, but I'm anxiously awaiting the new Switch remake in September! There's actually a fun little series on Youtube called "Boss Keys" where the person plays and critically examines all the dungeons in the Zelda series.

I had something similar happen, I started playing one of the Fire Emblem games when I was in the middle of a huge move, and I found myself thinking the game was terrible, and I finally shelved it and planned to just leave it waiting in the wings forever. But, realised that was wrong, it was just the stress of moving and making sure everything was set up and ready.

It does make me happy that you'r enjoying the series, I loved playing them!

I also took a quick peek into your unplayed, if you don't mind me asking, what went wrong with our Oracle of Seasons playthrough? There were parts of both games that were extremely frustrating for me, so I might be able to help!

It sure is one of my best accomplishments in gaming. Only 0.5% of all people on PS4 have the platinum trophy so far.

Aside from a lot of practice, it all comes down to sliding and boosting as much as possible to build up reserves to maintain a higher speed while driving really well - especially just before and after hitting boost pads, so you can hold on to their speeds (even the crazy fast blue flames) thanks to the hidden reserves system. I originally only intended to beat N. Tropy and hard mode, but I started trying some of the more tougher tracks to see if I could keep up with Oxide, and I could! It takes many restarts to get a great run and actually beat him on some tracks, but I got all of them in just a few evenings.
