that's reassuring to hear. i've liked the game so far, but the format has thrown me off a bit.

Ok, das scheint wirklich etwas zu broken zu sein. Ich mag zwar RPGs in denen man durch bestimmte Kniffe seine Charaktere overpowern kann, wie Final Fantasy 2 oder die SaGa-Spiele, aber im Fall von Bravely Default 2 klingt es doch so, als ob man sich das Spiel zu langweilig macht.

Inwiefern ist Bravely Default 2 "broken"? Auf die gute (also interessante) oder die schlechte Art ?

Would you say that Record of Lodoss War is worth picking up for someone who has played a lot of Metroidvanias?

HAH, that's amazing. I would have absolutely loved to have seen Sakurai's reaction to the last battle. The fact that it comes out of nowhere, and even the arena looks like a level from Smash, I was laughing the whole time. I'm still bummed that Travis didn't make it in as a full character, but this was almost as good to me.

And about the game itself, I agree with your complaints. The combat missions in the overworld do get old fast, and the enemies can be downright frustrating. I hated the guys with the shield and the ones that throw little black holes everywhere. A little more level variety like the other games did would've been nice!

Klingt ziemlich herausfordernd! Dann werde ich mal schauen, ob ich mir die Mühe mit den Bonusbossen mache, wenn ich es spiele. Kommt wohl ganz darauf an, wie viel Spaß es macht! Aber dir scheint es ja zu gefallen

Schade, dass das Spiel leider immer noch so kurz ist und insgesamt leider nicht mehr so gut, abgesehen vom technischen Aspekt (du hast Recht, das mit der Blickrichtung war echt etwas blöd gelöst und teils verwirrend). Ich glaube dann spare ich es mir doch die physische Version zu kaufen und hoffe irgendwann auf einen Sale Von einem dritten Teil wusste ich noch gar nichts! Wäre ja schön, wenn der an Death Mark anknüpft und auch wieder etwas besser ist.

Wie hat dir Spirit Hunter NG gefallen? Ich fand Death Mark ganz nett, aber eigentlich zu teuer für die kurze Spielzeit An der Grisaia Trilogie bin ich auch interessiert, den Rest hatte ich jetzt nicht auf dem Schirm... Muss ich mal gucken, ob das auch etwas für mich wäre

Das stimmt, ich finde es leider nicht wirklich spannend. Zwar habe ich gehört - und du sagst es ja auch - dass das true Ending gut ist, aber die Tatsache, dass man die wesentlich uninteressanten Stories auf Grund des Gameplays nicht einfach vorspulen kann wie bei anderen VN (schließlich muss man fast jeden Tag mehrfach auswählen, wo man hingehen möchte) macht das ganze für mich etwas zur Qual. Vielleicht setze ich mich beizeiten aber noch mal dran um es durchzuspielen... Und wenn ich jeden Monat nur eine Story spiele

Good lord, the school half is actually better in terms of actually having things to do.
Once the timeskip happens, anyone who you didn't recruit leaves you so you have less things to do and it feels emptier in the monastery.
The amount of freedom you have in free time is amazing too, though it can feel overbearing at first but eventually you have so much time and not enough to do in it.
Teaching is great as you basically get to custom tailor your army with whatever roles you deem fit to give your students. It keeps on going right to the end, by which point your only goals will probably be to try S rank their best proficiencies rather than get them suited for specific classes.
Considering the intent is to have each house have different characters, mixing things up in each route, the likelihood of selecting favourites from each house and then re-recruiting them for the next playthrough is rather high, I'm trying to resist recruiting the glass nuclear cannon Lysithea for my second run...

1) No. You gotta have a save or start fresh, preferably with NG+
2) Yes, you can spend renown on regaining a whole bunch of stuff from support levels to professor level. While it doesn't necessarily speed the game as a whole (levels don't carry over) it does make it so much less of a grind (especially if you recruited a character from another house, saves having to redo supports all over).
I'm actually a bit mad, sometimes rusty weapons are rare weapons from prior games (like the Hauteclere or Gradivus) but they can't be reforged until you're professor level A+. I had the Hauteclere from close to the beginning of Black Eagles and I ended the game at only level A. Edelgard would've been ideal with it.

T-elos is one of the easiest blades to obtain, actually. She has a very high pool rate compared to most rare blades. A friend of mine actually got her in a single rare core.
