Dude, did you end up pre-purchasing GW2? I think I might just get the regular one, companions are kind of 'meh' to me. Although that extra accessory just for the preorder looks good... not to mention the ability to get into the beta more often!

Must finish GW1 quickly! =o

Wow that is an awesome site, thanks for the link Cass! I can work on my builds now, for my future ranger/warrior probably. It's good news that I'll be able to change my secondary, at that point I'll be able to manage energy better!

I actually do have the first three games (I have a level 14 warrior in Factions... also with a secondary I do not like. =/ ). I'm still thinking about getting EotN, but I'm going pretty slowly in prophecies and by the time I actually get to finishing nightfall, GW2 will probably be out haha; but i'll try!

Guild Wars is pretty amazing; yeah it looks a bit dated but so far I'm enjoying the storyline and everything. Believe it or not, I actually got it last year on boxing day, I managed to nab the Trilogy for a very low price of $14.99 off of Steam. I hear that Factions and Nightfall are standalone games and that Prophecies + Eye of the North (which I'll probably get this holiday) is actual 'canon'; is that true?

I think I'll start with prophecies since it looks the most interesting to me. Too bad about the henchmen thing, but I guess this way it makes it more like a single player rpg in mmorpg land. I can already see that you have to have decent skill to control your henchmen properly though.

Totally looking forward to Guild Wars 2, it looks so great! Cool that I can attain achievement in GW2 from GW1.
