You are playing a lot of games right now! Do you usually juggle this many at a time? I can’t remember.

Ok! 2 things in that case.

1: Do UDG before watching the anime since it references thing for that game.

2: The anime (when you get to it) is split into two sides (Future and Despair) and then the special, Hope side. This parts important! You want to watch the first episode of Future, then the first episode of Despair, then the second episode of Future, then the second episode of Despair. And keep going in that pattern until you reach the last episode of Future, Then watch Hope side. I know this is overly complicated but this actually the intended way to watch it.

You beat DR 2! Yeah the ending (in my opinion some would say this title goes to V3) has the most deus Ex machina moments in the series. Especially the last bit where Hajime goes fucking super saiyan and just shouts "FUTURE!" a lot.

I would beat Ultra Despair Girls and watch the anime before moving on to V3. But that's up to you, you can do what you want.

Danganronpa 2:
I like the final trial, but yeah, some of the explanations feel like cop-outs. Some people would say the same for V3, but I disagree.

I haven't delved too deeply into EOIV since I started it but I'm really enjoying it so far in terms of fun and difficulty. Really enjoying the fact you're able to recruit and customize your party as you see fit, which thankfully for me my party comp seems to be a pretty decent one (I googled around to see what some good party comps were before I had my boyfriend help me name the party members xD).

I agree that the music is fantastic! Wish I had more time to play but between streaming FFX and playing other things on my "off' days in between that I haven't sadly been able to dive in as often as I'd like.

How's gaming going on your end?

For sure. There's tracks that lend themselves better to snaking and ones where there aren't many spots to do it (Yoshi Falls goes into the latter category). Still, it is much faster to fit in as many mini-turbos as possible during the straightways in every track, a single mini-turbo can save at least 0.2 seconds. Going as tight as possible in the turns is also important, and so is performing multiple mini-turbos while taking them.

Sure thing! From what I've seen it's basically Megaman Zero/X0 but with dragons. just letting you i'll probably tell you how it is from mostly single player perspective considering that my team that I beat Triforce Heroes with has agreed that our next project is going to be Federation Force.

Thank you!

Linear Bounded Phenogram is a collection of short stories that take place during the original game. Each story from at a different character’s perspective and has a unique writer. Most notably, the Zero Escape writer created one of the scenarios.
(Spoilers to the original Steins;Gate below)
All of the stories are non-canonical to the series, but they kind of ARE canonical due to the way the worldlines work. As such, you get some pretty interesting variations here. What if Okabe used D-Mail to fight crime? What if Mr. Braun was the one who won that lottery ticket? What if Suzuha learned about her older self dying before reaching 2010? If ideas like this fascinate you, then definitely give it a look.
LBP also seems quite lengthy. And yeah — you have to purchase Elite to access it on PS4. Not sure about Steam.

I see you asked Lucca202 about Heavy Rain. Oddly enough, I was playing through the game last week for the first time when they announced the PC ports. Weird coincidence. Anyway, I enjoyed it. The writing is kind of awkward at some points, but it was also really intense too.

Yup. I never thought I'd see those games outside of PlayStation platforms, but I guess one can't argue with Epic/Tencent's infinite money.

I'm still not sure what to think of Heavy Rain. It has its moments, and you can see how much ambition there was in certain points, but... it's not that great. For a game that takes so much from movies, the voice acting isn't very good save a few characters, and even if it was, the script is really poor. The ideas they had regarding the Origami Killer are great and could have shined, but the writing is stiff, lacks subtlety, and -- probably what annoyed me the most -- is rampantly misogynistic and has some of the worst ideas of "romance" I've ever seen. I would rather have had a game with all male characters than what they actually did. The central theme of the game is fatherhood, so it would have been justified, too.

I dunno, though... I'm a big fan of story-driven games, and while I felt like I hated the game when I finished it at first, it's slowly growing on me as I forget its lowest points and remember the highest ones. It probably also helps that I've worked on such a game myself, and I know how easily those things fall apart and how crazy ambitious Heavy Rain is from a technical standpoint.

Anyway, sorry if I'm talking too much, I have a lot on my mind thinking about what to write for my blog. I think you should definitely try the games. Good humor is definitely important (for instance, to get past some of the goofyness resulting from the game trying to be movie-like), and you seem to have an eclectic taste in gaming, so maybe Quantic Dream's unique brand of gameplay will please you. And if anything, I know that Heavy Rain isn't the best of the bunch. I played Beyond: Two Souls back when it came out and I enjoyed it a lot more, which seems to indicate an improvement. I hope Detroit is even better.

"I agree with that!" Expect I'd also throw in Mondo. Yes he killed Chihiro but I'll amidt, I have a bias toward sailor mouth characters being a bit of a one myself and liked his backstory.

talking about chapter 5
Yeah, thought I would get on Nagito before that happened. So what's your opinion on the 2-5 considering It's considered by many (I personally prefer V3-5) to be the best chapter in the series

The spoiler tagging is for onlookers who might see the rest of our conversion and figure stuff out. No spoilers for you in this tag. Suggest you do the same on my page.

I mean, I found Teruteru funny as well as being creepy but Hiyoko I just found annoying as hell most the time she was on screen. And I just told you how much I like Gundam

I did eventually see their FTEs through [REDACTED] so I understand why they are the way they are. I can see why you like them alot and I don't dislike Teruteru (still dislike hiyoko but I did like her more after seeing her FTEs). And your right about one thing, they are entertaining.

3 More things.

1:Now I'm curious about who your favorite characters from DR 1 are.

2:This is a eventual question for anyone playing Danganronpa 2, what is your opinion on Nagito?

3:You should probably update your progress note for DR 2 so it says chapter 5.

No spoilers for stuff you haven't seen yet.

Ah yes, Fuck boyardee thought he was weird in a funny way (and a bit of a creep as you can tell from that nickname)but I didn't spend any free time with him. Also "AVRIL LAVIGNE!!!"

Congratulations! Your one of the few Danganronpa fans who likes Hiyoko. I'm going to be honest with you, she was kinda a bitch. I mean, she had her reasons, but still

But I fucking feel you when it comes to Gundham. He's my favourite character in the entire series! Followed up by A character in V3 and then baby gangster. Anyway, because of this his execution destroyed me, they make you think there going to pull a D.A.M.E. (Deus Alter Machina Ego). But they don't.... If it makes you feel better (because it definitely helped me), apparently that spell wasn't to try to protect himself in the first place, it was for the four dark devas of destruction.
