I have a friend that's really into esports for starcraft 2. I started to get into it then stopped when I noticed I was spending too much time watching people play vidya instead of playing them myself . On a similar note its interesting seeing pros play but I also see alot of people would rather watch others play video games instead of playing them. Lets plays are all over youtube. On the flip side those are useful for if you get stuck on a game.

I'm gonna build myself a PC here soon. I would have built one sooner but I got out of the army within the last year and you move around too much for a desktop to be feasible. Shipping a tower and monitor every time you move would have been too expensive. That channel also looks at games they call "gems" aka games most people haven't looked at before. Also they had a video recently showing an interesting idea for displaying game boy/game boy advance games. They used nail polish display stands. Maybe you've seen those before they are clear and rowed so you stack your games next to each other facing forward. It looks nice I think.

Haha, probably a good 50% I was originally interested in when I started with GoG and the others were picked up during sales when I looked at them to see if they fell under genres I liked, looked fun, and were at least generally well received. Either that or they came free when you bought something else. I'm not too picky, about the only genres I don't like playing are sports so most stuffs fair game to me. I'll delete them as I try them if I find out I don't like them for whatever reason.

I think you said once you were mostly interested in retro vidya. If you ever are looking into getting those to work on a modern display I would really recommend the youtube channel "My Life in Gaming." I see them on Backloggery's home page too. They were a great resource for me for info and got all my old vidya working on a modern TV looking nice. Upscalers are redonkously expensive though for now.

Yeah I was bored and browsing cool profiles and found you, and thought "yeah, I need more people who update regular with a nice big collection" so I did.

Unfortunately my ChuChu Rocket doesn't work, it's just unfair. I've been meaning to replace it but other games seem to be getting in the way. It's on my to-buy list though for sure, I love it.
