I'm with you. Discord is generally the big gaming social platform now; a few years ago it used to be all about Skype, and years before that it was all about MSN/Windows Live Messenger, and to a lesser extent AIM. I agree too, I'd prefer to just textbox chat than voice. Let me know if you want to add me on Discord.

More hands and eyes = more effective teamwork. Factorio was a game I played with two friends, and it was a relief we had that setup because the game would've taken 3-5x as long if there was only one of us. I focused on fuels and fuel-related craftables, one friend focused on electricity and transportation via train, and our other friend worked on general object production and convoy. Still, having one person do all the work definitely makes them more overall knowledgeable.

I noticed we have a few multiplayer Steam games in common; until I get Raft/Stardew Valley/Don't Starve Together (which may be delayed if I stick to my backlog more strictly for 2020), perhaps we could play something in common together!

Oh Raft got a story mode? That's interesting, especially since it's literally called "Raft". Glad to hear it's more of a relaxing experience, though. Sometimes people need those games to unwind from life for awhile. Thanks for sharing. If I decide to get it, I'll let you know and maybe we can play coop sometime.

I have writers block recently. Was writing a supernatural story about a small town. I know how I wanna end it but been hard to write it out. Also I wanna write a monkey's paw like scenario.

That all sounds really interesting. I never even thought of using games for stories. That's pretty cool. Any advice on improving?

Terraria Easily one of the best games I've ever played with some of the best developers out there today. It's a shame they discontinued production on the sequel, but it's still a fun game on its own. Hope you're enjoying it!

To be honest, I kinda forgot the Vita was really a thing... it sort of came and went. I was only interested in it because of the one Katamari game it had, and the Ys game that will inevitably hit PC soon enough much like Seven did.

I'm sure this is a pretty stupid question, but have you played Dance Dance Revolution before? I swear, some of the full versions of those songs are really kickass, but it all depends on your genre. I think there are some Miku-esque songs in more recent releases.
