Consider Yourself a Hero: Majority of games are beaten
Completely agree, I've maybe had a run in with maybe 1 or 2 bad apples out of the time I've been here but that doesn't even compare to all the good times I've had and good people I've met/interacted with.

As far as favorite games hmmm I definitely have to say Persona 3 Portable, Secret of Mana (original), Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 6, Ys 8 Lacrimosa of Dana, Resident Evil 2 (remake or original both are very solid), Resident Evil 5 (for a pretty awesome co-op) Kirby Planet Robobot (if you need something portable) I guess I could go on and on so the best question to ask is do you have a game type or genre or overall preference? That way I can narrow it down a bit to your tastes because I'm mostly going to end up naming RPGs.

!!! Update 2/11/2019 !!!

I acquired an Oculus Rift at the beginning of February which means I nuked my Steam accounts with more games. I'm probably gonna focus on VR games for a while.

Thanks man, I do like backloggery's style, it allows for abit more personality compared to howlongtobeat, which I also considered using. This site kinda reminds me of old-school stumbleupon profiles, before reddit became the place for sharing interesting sites.

Your right about BF1's sound specifically, it's on point with the sounds effects, the orchestral music, and even the narration/voice-overs during loading and briefing - which is a neat touch. It's a shame BFV audio design isn't as strong, leading to the multiplayer not feeling as "epic" as BF1.

And I also noticed the same thing about SCVI netcode, being a regular Tekken 7 player, this SC has alot to improve on MP-wise, but given I'm not used to the combat system, I'm not too concerned about the netcode for now, as I'll be practicing via the single-player. But thanks for the heads up!

Thanks buddy, I've been on Backloggery for awhile but haven't used the multi-tap feature, so it's about time! As for Battlefield 1, it's been excellent, I've being playing multiplayer for awhile, so I've decided to finally finish things off by completing the singleplayer. I guess the best way to describe BF1 as a whole is; epic. How are you finding Soulcalibur? Just bought it recently myself but I want to get a couple of games done first before I main it.

It was actually her citrus girls that I'd first discovered, and I'm not completely sure how that let me to the nightmare girl, but it was just so me. I might check it out, but I'm not incredibly fond of the '80s, to be honest; living through that decade once was enough for me... not the that '90s were much better. That said, I'm kinda in the market for new music right now, so maybe. That and I do love Trevor Something Does Not Exist, and that's faux '80s: [Link] I think that's what the kids are calling Vaporwave, or maybe that was a genre back then, too; I didn't listen to Pop stations back then, or even at all in the 20th Century.

I thought I was going to start breezing through the chapters, since I've completed a lot of the sidestories already, but then I got my own business. Damn, I'm treading water now. Never thought something like that could be interesting, but it is; maybe using my fists to solve some of the problems is giving it that vitality that it needs. Right!? God of War is still fun to play (unless your name is Ascension), but there are times that I just have to shake my head or even laugh out loud, and I'm not even counting the sex minigames. The one with the brothel (one of the PSP ones; was it Ghost of Sparta, maybe) was so over-the-top, I half-expected it to end with a loud impact noise and prostitutes exploding out the doors and windows by the dozens. Of course, that doesn't make it not entertaining; just not in the way the developers had imagined.

It's also the only one that doesn't have a dated impact. Fresh as they were when they came out, 4-6's respective gimmicks have been done to hell and back since then; plenty of games with chapters, generations, and TONS with dual worlds. 7 was a pretty damn good swan song for the old style, too; once 8 came out, it became something entirely different, and it just wasn't the same. 8 still kept the gameplay, and the visuals are GORGEOUS (even after 80+ hours, I still stopped to watch every single sunset), but they're just too damn goofy, and that's not the Dragon Warrior I know. Of course, I say this knowing full well that I'm just being old, and that I'm well in the minority.

Get the hell out; so it is... I've actually never heard of them; it's just sheer coincidence that Loish really seems to get around. I was looking at her art and just absolutely fell in love with this one, so it became my banner. That and it's basically me when I'm dreaming; the gal even sleeps on the same side of the bed.

This is my first Yakuza, and while the amount of content - and to an extent, the nature of it - is a little overwhelming, I'm really enjoying it. I'd always avoided the series, because I'd thought it was a Grand Theft Auto knockoff; I mean, the damn title is a direct reference to organized crime! Turns out it's more along the lines of Devil May Cry, and I can get behind that; I see random encounters on the street, and I RUN toward them; something about knocking some punk-ass on his back with a trashcan and stomping it into a thin metal sheet over his sternum just never gets old. Sure, God of War has its dismemberments and such, but its brutality isn't quite as visceral and satisfying as it is in Yakuza. It also helps that the game is just the right amount of self-aware; God of War takes itself too seriously for me to do the same. As a character, I like Kiryu better - he's almost husband material - but I like Majima's fighting style much better. I don't know that I'm going to jump right into another Yakuza game right away, but I'm pretty sure that this bug is going to bite me again.

I hesitantly ask how you're enjoying Dragon Warrior 7, since you're not terribly far into it yet. I enjoyed it a great deal; Dragon Warrior games have never had a strong story, but what was very interesting in 4-7 was the way in which the story was told, and 7 has a storytelling device that I just haven't seen before or since.
You're my Lady...
