RSS FFMarathon: Final Fantasy VI
- by admiralsandwich a.ka "Riss." Surprisingly enough, Final Fantasy VI was not always my favorite of the series. I did play it around the time it originally came out on the Super Nintendo as "Final Fantasy III," but I wasn't quite into roleplaying ... (read more)

I'm sure it's fine, just stating a preference.

I just feel, how should I put it, more in control with the PC setup. Also the top down camera is handy, the game looks better (especially with some added HD textures and such), and of course there's the mod community with quite a collection of great stuff already available. In the end I guess to me Bioware = PC no matter what they do, haha.

But again it's alright with me however people enjoy it, I'm not judgemental yes I am.

New podcast coming soon btw?

i was debating on picking up Bioshock 2 but figured I can wait a bit as I still want to do another run for on Bioshock 1 before that anyway...plus I want to get to a few games I've wrongly ignored in my backlog (mainly Orange Box, Burnout Paradise and Assassins Creed II)

I really know nothing about Dante's Inferno so far so passing on that right now is pretty easy though i'll be sure to watch some video reviews on it soon

I think the next game I'll truly be buying immediately is the new Splinter Cell...pretty much everything else can wait for a price drop

I agree,i was pretty surprised with how everything made sense in the end.Even Liquid's arm taking over had an explanation,i had chalked that one as one of the usual over the top things that Japan loves. A++,will play again!

Master of Unlocking: Majority of games are completed
Tell me about it. It's a few days before my b-day...so I take it that Damon Albarn knows I'm his biggest fan

(cutting in for a bit...)Also, yes, a new Dragon Age game needs to happen. I'd love to see it running on the same beautiful engine that Mass Effect 2 was using

What? No! You realize that ME2 runs on UE3 right? It's proven to be a pretty versatile engine, sure, but it's also clearly made for consoles. Keep Dragon Age PC-centric thankyouverymuch.

I saw that! I would be ecstatic if it's ME 3. And surprised. Whatever it is will probably awesome anyways. Unless it's another iPhone game. I didnt even know that another Dragon Age is beign worked on until i saw that post! I'm actually looking forward to that too! Maybe Morrigan will come back as a MILF! My favorite!

MGS4 eaten at last! Let's see...right now,MGS3 is still slightly better. In a few things,MGS4 wins hard:the final fistfight with Liquid Ocelot (with the health bars shifting to those of the old MGS titles) was epic and the whole Act4 was the greatest part of any MGS for me.However, some of the new mechanics felt kinda forced into it and the game felt too cutscene-heavy: i really don't mind that, but the fact that i spent the majority of Act 5 by watching cutscenes didn't click well with me..This one was an awesome experience with plenty of great moments, but overall it felt like it lacked that something that just made MGS3 an even better experience for me.

hey i saw on Kongwen's page you said you picked up Darksiders. I'm really enjoying what I've played of it this far (although it has been put on a sorta perma-hold status since ME2 hit)

either way I love pretty much everything (aside from the atrocious screen-tearing of which a patch is said to be in the works to fix) about it so hopefully you will too.

planning on doing a 2nd run in ME2? Which class was your first playthrough done as (I'll guess a soldier as most people did)?
