To make an example, if Ballad of Blood was handled by Fragasso, the cast would have been foreign and the director would have made the actors learn the script verbatim because no one knew how to speak in that language. And then it would have been probably redubbed in italian even if was made by an italian director with italian only speaking actors. XD

I don't know the exact cash (and it would have been rude to ask) needed, but i have seen movies for long enough to be able to tell if it was a lavish or "medium" production, and this movies definitely needed the funding it received from the region.

I don't think, but then again i haven't watched Buried, so i don't know if the tone is comparable.

Praise all them norks, indeed.

Yeah, the Brain That Wouldn't Die is in the horror/b-movie category for sure.
Mistery Science Theather 3000 sadly isn't a speciality of here, is an old american show about the "riffing" of movies, like poking fun at bad or old movies like b-movies, stinkers, sci-fi turkeys and more, by pretty much talking at the movies, only done by professional comedians and with a low budget that just adds to the appeal and the style. I discovered it by pure accident while surfing youtube, and it has continued to this day as Rifftrax and Cinematic Titanic. Google it.

I think Civil War was quite meh, it felt kinda pointless and small despite all it's trying to be even bigger than previous crossover movies, which meant inserting trailer for the other superheroes "solo movie" in the body of this one, compromising everything to be sure you know about that Marvel has another superheroes movies coming, in case you slept during all the previous ones. I happened to watch X-Men Apocalypse a week ago, and frankly i liked that better than "the adventures of Roger and Bucky" (there i said it XD).

DQ Heroes is a musou game that even people disinterested in musou could like, because it basically blends the hack n slash core of Dynasty Warriors and similar titles in a rpg skeleton, and it offert a tower defense like twist on the formula which works really well, with a lot of enemy variety and a lot, a lot more variety in general. For example, you may be required to defend more objectives, and you can place monsters (after they drop their monster medal) to better protect objectives while you deal with strong enemies or activate levers, and it's important to understand where to put the monsters, especially in the last stages where the last wave may bring very very strong monsters, with powerful area of attack which may still damage the thing you're protecting, even if your monsters is keeping them busy.

it would have made sense, but frankly it would have made it worse, given the treatment this italian movies got and i think still get on the dubbing department. Also, it would have meant more cost to pay for the dubbing.

Well, they did know how to speak it, even though the main cast was made of "greenhorns", they all hade some experience in the theatre and clearly weren't just taken of a class of people who only know how to speak italian, and only that.

It's a mistery! (or a complicated ethnology branch, i dunno)

Yeah, saw the cover art and limited edition on the NISA store!

I'd say, it's nice to be able to play Dodonpachi on the phone without much compromise, but on the other hand the mobile/smartphone audience isn't one keen on spending up to 15 bucks for a game (and an audience that doesn't wanna pay for anything, in most cases), and it wasn't profitable enough, it seems.

Depends if your show is HBO or not, i deducted that much. Otherwise, the real taboo is the nipples, evidently american censors think they make kids spontaneously erupt or turn them into vampires, or something.

in his later days he was known mostly for his pornographic feature (he even dabbled in the "barbarian" craze with his Ator movies), i think Porno Holocaust is the only one that would countain that fucking shit, technically. Dunno why exactly they didn't stop him for that, frankly, i guess because no one liked the idea of even recognizing shit like that existed.

Yeah, but usually this kind of publications have an already established number of chapters before it begins, but of course it can be milked a lil more if Shonen Jump or whatever wants to get more weeks covered with that manga. Or it can be shortened quite a bit if it doesn't do that well, like i could feel they kinda rushed a manga about a kid with miracolous medical skill (i think it was named after an ancient greek doctor, can't remember the actual name of the series) because fixing a rib with a clever solution doesn't sell as much as shooting beams from the head (not among the main demographic of this stuff).

I red Fairy Tail for a while, and i watched the first episode, which was made to be even more "for kids", and looked like ass, animation wise, to be fair to it. But still, this type of manga is over the top and stupid, always was, always is and will be ( exceptions like Death Note exist, but they do are exceptions).
I'm not so harsh, because i still like this stuff for what it is, i'm not gonna pretend i don't, and frankly i don't see why not, given that somehow now people wanna see comic book action all the time, after years of shaming people into comics of any type.

People watches way worse, and dumber shit, so yeah, i'm not gonna judge them for stuff like this (also, it would be beyond hypocritical).

Well... you're not far off: [Link] During the chorus, all I can picture is the band playing their instruments on top of a giant woman's pubic mound. Wearing party hats, of course. I know it's supposed to be gross and sexual, but I just can't see it any other way.

I really like 3; it has a pretty diverse moveset, as opposed to 1, 2, and 4, which have zero moves at all. I guess you don't have spells in 3, but when the sword doesn't suck, you don't actually need them.

I wouldn't know; I have zero plans to own a Vita.

I didn't know that he was a giant, either, until playing Golden Axe Warrior, because I've never been a big Golden Axe fan. It's like you say: the gameplay is not too great. Maybe it was good for the time, but it's aged like bread.

Oh, did it ever! By never revisited, though, I meant that they were never seen in other Metroid games; you do occasionally go back to them within that game.

Honestly, you could very well be right; I've played it through to completion 2 or 3 times, but never once figured out how the phazon corruption worked.

I'm definitely not familiar with that one. I'm told that I'm good at mixing drinks, which is strange, because I don't consume alcohol.

Not everyone has a scary unknown side, and for many people who do, it's not actually all that scary.

I've heard that term, as well, but I don't exactly push, if you catch my drift.

One might get that impression from select screenshots, and it does have its creepy moments, but I wouldn't say that it's creepy overall.

Same deal: teenage stupidity is what led to that lack of a quick check, and to their mutual suicides. A lot of people don't get that it's not supposed to be romantic; it's supposed to be stupid. If Romeo and Juliet is the greatest love story ever told, then Super Mario Bros. changed the face of rugby forever, because a guy throws balls in it.

I just find it funny that most of the extremely judgmental people that I encounter are his followers.
Prepare for the worst, expect nothing, and hope you survive the day.
