Took me years to realize that the banner and logo images were broken due to me copying the wrong link. Sorry about that.

Welp, time to add the games from Epic I'm missing from the course of the year. That was a good streak of at least

If anybody knows how to properly set the avatar photo and banner I would appreciate a DM . Also, with all this local economic regression I guess the investment finally paid off, eh? ... well, sort of at least . Maybe it will get better in the future, here's hoping

It's a shame but I had to get rid of the banner and the avatar photo since I can't seem t find a way to show them properly.

Because there are actually 240 stars since you unlock Luigi when you get all 120 stars, which means another 120 stars to collect as Luigi. Also good luck with Mega Man Zero, that game series is Brutal. The only possible way I could beat the first was with save states.
EDIT: nevermind I see you've been informed but still good luck on Zero. The main reason I've been turned off by the series is because of the difficulty and I'll probably never get

Well, it is kind of pointless and stupid, even if the game is different enough with Luigi's physics to be just as fun the second time around. I was just guessing why he only marked it as beaten.

After you collect all 120 Stars in Mario Galaxy, you have to do the same with Luigi, then an extra Star is unlocked for both characters, bringing the actual amount of Stars to 242.

I randomise my games so it was just a coincidence when they came out in that order. I must admit I found it funny too when they kept popping up with an 'I' & 'V' in their name.

Thanks for the add on Steam too!

I'm just starting the game, 7hrs in. I'm loving the game so far, great characters, graphics and music. Considering that Xenoblade and Xenoblade X are my favorite games of all time, I have high expectations for this one.

The Special Edition contains the game in a steelbook case, artbook, soundtrack and a pretty collector's box : p

I don't think there are that many endings in Doki Doki Literature Club? I only got the main one, I think.

I believe I've done that, if you're willing to stretch the definition of a cooking game a bit. If BurgerTime doesn't count, then I've played Short Order/Eggsplode at my sister's house. The Short Order side is a Power Pad game in which you jump on certain numbers to add certain things to the burger that you're making for a customer. So, if someone wants a cheeseburger, you jump on the burger numbers, then the cheese numbers. It's a bizarre premise that's surprisingly fun. I've tried Cooking Mama, but I'm not a huge fan, and most of the other cooking games that come to mind are in Japanese, which I can't even read. For me, I think it'd be the same as my sister playing Guitar Hero. She's a damn genius musician - she was playing Pink Floyd's Another Brick in the Wall within an hour of getting her first guitar - but since she plays an actual guitar, she doesn't enjoy Guitar Hero, and actually isn't even very good at it. Though I do love food-themed games (Panic Restaurant ), I think it'd probably be the same for me.

I'm not sure how many games I've played that came out this year, since I usually don't buy new stuff; I almost always wait for it to go on sale and pick it up then. I know >observer_ came out this year, which I would highly recommend, if you like cyberpunk and/or long, surreal mind trips that make you forget that there's an actual reality to which you need to return. Hollow Knight is definitely on my radar; I enjoy Platventures to begin with, and the artwork reminds me of an album cover from my favorite band, The Birthday Massacre. Cuphead seems neat, but probably something I'd pick up when it gets a little cheaper; I think it'll be fun, but not something I need to play. As for Sonic Mania, the more I see of it, the less interested I am; there's just not enough new content to justify my shelling out $20, when I can grab a plethora of Sonic 2 hacks for free.

Hey, you too, and if you ever need me to duck your backlog's head further underwater with some hidden gems, just hit me up anytime!

Playing games for 30 years with OCD and not much of a social life is how; not sure that's a great trade-off. The only thing I enjoy more is cooking, but you can only do so much of that, so more time is spent on games. 30 years ago, they were a nice escape from a soul-crushing reality, and now, they've just been such a part of my life for so long that it stuck with me. This is actually my third round of ing everything since I've been on this site; I have a bit of a binge-and-purge style. Once I finish these last 26, I'll probably add a giant pile more to my collection again. I suppose another thing that helps is that if I don't like I game, I just abandon it; they're supposed to be fun, so if I'm having a bad time with it, there's no sense in pushing myself to the end, unless there's a better sequel ahead, or I'm playing it as a sort of required reading, so to speak. Or if I lost a bet, but after my Kingdom Hearts fiasco, I got a lot smarter about not betting things like that.
Ok, yeah, I have too many games to play
