Ah, I understand. Gaming has to take the backburner sometimes.

Hey, what's up? It's been forever.

I forgot you had a Vita. You should get Dragon's Crown.

If they didn't, then I wouldn't have even played Crysis 2 or 3! The changes were what brought me back to the series to begin with. I understand why you would be upset though, although I don't think the changes were as dramatic as you make them out to be. That's just me though!

Funny, a lot of people think that, but I find the original Crysis to be kind of lifeless and uninteresting. It has a lot going for it, but the open world is boring and the mechanics don't feel as fleshed out as they do in Crysis 2 (and, by extension, 3). Crysis 2 was more linear, sure, but each encounter felt like it was more meaningful than just happening upon a random group of soldiers that could barely put up a fight. Plus, man...the A.I. is SO BAD in the original. It's not great in 2 or 3 either, but it's still a huge improvement.

So yeah, the original Crysis is still the weakest of the three in my mind. I'm messing around with it right now and it's so weird to play after just finishing 3, haha. Again, not bad, just not particularly great either.

The Bob Barbas fight I didn't like as much -- it was a tad on the easy side, even on Nephilim for me. It reminded me a bit of the Fleming boss fight from Shadows of the Damned but not as difficult.

The boss fights I liked were the one with Lilith and the boss fight with Vergil.

I'm surprised that you liked DMC Devil May Cry. I tried to look at it objectively (i.e. ignored the internet backlash) and look at the game on its own. I just didn't like the game as much as Enslaved or other action games (like Bayonetta).

The story does make a lot more sense than Bayonetta however. The game did a great job of presenting Dante as an actual person, not some cocky badass like the mainline DMC series. It was almost like Max Payne in terms of tragedy.

It's weird but I also liked how Vergil was portrayed....and how the devil trigger slowly made Dante's hair white. It's the little touches that call back to the regular series and would actually set up events in the regular series.

If there's a sequel, I'm hoping that Trish gets introduced. That would be interesting.
