If you end up romancing more than one girl at a time, there are some REALLY funny scenes that play out later in the game. It's worth it in my book, although most people will tell you to romance only one at a time. I just have a very particular thing for Fuuka. I guess it's the blue hair.

Yeah, it is. It might have a slightly different name that I don't quite recall, but that's the secret Temple. Was 4 the one with the hidden level at the Bean With Bacon Megarocket, or was that six?

Thinking of letting Battles of Prince of Persia for DS go from my collection and backlog. It's a turn based strategy game with a somewhat interesting combat system but I'm not enjoying it as much as I thought I would, and I don't think I'll ever be returning for it. If anybody's interested in making a swap, let me know and we'll see if we can work out something fair from the games you're willing to let go. It's a US version, not that that matters much on a region free system. The copy's preplayed (already was when I got it) but in good condition, boxed and manual is included.

Man, the DS version of FF4 is such a kick in the teeth, isnt it? I remember thinking, oh yeah. The fiends. Finally some bosses with obvious elemental weaknesses. These should be easy. Then my game ate my soul. Serves me right for not learning how to use augments.

The Clock Tower (in RE3) is the furthest I remember making it in that game.. Nemesis is an A-hole!

Heh, we signed up on the same day! And what is this RE3 normal controls nonsense? What difficulty are you playing on?

Well, he has like 14k HP, so, an elixir and a good hit from Yang kills him.

The joke boss? The doc, you mean? He is a *DICK*. My advice: Sacrifice an elixir when it will hit him for 9999.

About the only games I can think of that I would actively run from battles would be in the DQ games. The encounter rates are so high series wide that there are points where I say 'You know, the levels really aren't worth all the time I'm blowing here.' and just run to speed up the treasure hunts. Actually, I used that method in FF3. I would enter dungeons, run from every battle while collecting all the treasures, then leave, heal, equip the new goodies I found and level a bit in the first few rooms.

Jumping into the RPG chatter, I used to run from all battles when I was a kid. These days, I fight all the battles until I can clear each battle with minimal attacks.

Yeah, those Ice beasts are super annoying. Funny you mentioned you ran away from battles. I try NOT to run from any battle I have when I play RPGs... unless the RPG is so hard that running is a *requirement* and not a luxury! Just about to start Soul Blazer (SNES). I've played this one a very long time ago but played maybe an hour total. So this will be my first time playing it "longer"?

Good job in FF IV (DS). Tower of Zot was a very annoying area. I don't know about the DS version, but the original SNES version had a pretty hectic encounter rate in that area. I've played a lot of Final Fantasy Mystic Quest (SNES) lately. I'm hoping to get through this one over the weekend.
