Your comment on Red Faction isn't filling me with confidence that it's a good game. In fact, I get the impression it's just things going boom, would that be accurate?

My friend also loathes Star Ocean: TLH for a different reason. Apparently, it boggles his mind that a 6 year old girl is listed as 14 years old xD I probably shouldn't get Star Ocean 4. I'd be foolishly trying for the achievements which sound quite hardcore since they're "technically" possible.

I felt the need to announce that I've already gotten rid of Star Ocean: The Last Hope. I'm not going to torture myself by going after the incessant battle trophies, nor by going through a dungeon that takes a MINIMUM of 5 hours just to get the 100% treasure chests achievement. NOR will I berate myself by replaying the game on a harder difficulty. Like I seriously need to lose another 130 hours. It was fun while it lasted, I guess.

I also want to announce how much better my avatar is compared to Manablade's. Zero was cool, but he just doesn't emanate evil like Arma from Demon's Crest. Now, all I need is an equally menacing banner! Mwahaha..

For AC, I had a half a dozen builds for the S ranks. Depends on my main target, but a constant feature was at least one backup blade so I could ditch the gun after it was useless, and depending on how many nexts I was against, either kojima missiles or something similar that was heavy hitting.

In gen one, at the moment, trying to seduce the witch chick into bearing me some kid.

Well that's good! I know I'd probably be pretty devastated if all my games just suddenly disappeared from here.

And haha, even I can say now how ridiculous it is that I own so may DS games! At least back when I was buying tons of them there wasn't as much crap out there as there is now. I used to buy just about any game if it was cheap enough, but now there's some stuff on the system that I'd never buy no matter how cheap it was.

Also, how are you enjoying Red Faction: Guerrilla so far? I loved the first two games, and while I was disappointed that they made the switch to third-person for this one, I ended up enjoying the demo quite a bit. I'll probably pick it myself eventually, but it just didn't grab me enough to get me to buy it at the moment.
