Ah, yeah, when I was going after them it had been six months or a year since I'd taken out the other gangs (played it at my friend-who-lives-over-three-hours-away's place, which kind of puts a crimp into the game schedule) so for most of the time I was fighting the Shai-Gen it just never occurred to me that while the 800-round machine gun was awesome, it may not be the best weapon.

I still ended up kicking most of the Shai-Gen bosses to death like I did for the Volk and Los Muertos though.

Good luck with those Shai-Gen. As I recall, multiply the difficulty of the hardest Muertos and Volk together and that's about as hard as the average Shai-Gen officer.

It's not that it's difficult; it's that it sucks. There must be something about the Wii Remote that makes actual swordfighting impossible, as even the lightsaber game has moved away from 1-to-1 equivalency.
