☆☆★★★ Doesn't hold a candle to the original, but it's good so far. Original one was more casual.

★★★★★ I cannot recommend this game enough. Sure, the fights and the music sometimes get repetitive and the infrequent slowdown is painful (not to mention extra long load times), but it has too many things in its favor, like the complexity of the crafting system, the epic dialogue, and more importantly, the art... it's the most beautiful use of 2D in a game I've ever seen. Vanillaware are true masters at this, I wish they would release games more often (and for platforms I actually own).

☆☆★★★ Pros: The game is fun, the art style is fantastic and the melee weapon controls are tight. Cons: Ranged and jumping controls are very loose, enemies sometimes move erratically and is impossible to hit them, and sometimes I feel the game's too easy.

My last PS3 suddenly kicked the bucket on me and took the data with it into oblivion. There was no way for me to get it out due to not having a backup drive around, and even if I did try to get it out of the hard drive, it all got corrupted, so it would've ended up being a wasted effort. I pretty much lost all my game saves up to that point.

I was more annoyed about it than angry, really.

I thought it was pretty balanced out by the luck of the draw, at least in my experience. I try to balance out my deck, but even then, sometimes I can get thrown a bad hand and end up with several cards in the deck that require a lot just to get into the field, giving my opponent a real edge against me. It can be pretty nasty that way.

Everything's been fine. Slow. Trying to get a better life going, slowly but surely. But I won't go into any details since I don't like to talk about my personal life. Though I will say I'm getting ideas to hopefully someday get a book published.

The Persona games are great. Personally, I loved all of them except Persona 3, which is one of my most hated RPGs and the only SMT game I strongly dislike. The P2 series is also okay, but I sort of prefer the first game over it right now. I'm weird that way.

I rather liked Card Fighters DS, myself. It has its faults but every now and then I like curling up with it and enjoying a good few rounds with it.

Yep! I finished it in 5 hours. People say it takes about 8 hours! Guess I'm just good at these types of games...I love games that test my own skill like Super Meat Boy.

Have fun with Dead Space 3! I didn't like it at all. I sold it right after I beat it. I love Dead Space 1 and 2 though.

Playing Hotline 2 now! It's really good. There's an actual told story this time. All I can say is that the game is mostly the same as 1 except more difficult. The 2nd level is pretty challenging.

Well I just finished Persona 3. My god, 90 something hours. I don't think I've ever played a game that much in a short time! It was fun though. I'm trying to clear through my remaining JRPGs in my backlog; I've been holding onto them for years and not touched them! I, of course, won't play them very long if I'm not having fun.

I haven't played Hotline Miami 2 yet...I hung out with my wife yesterday and she likes to watch me play games, she really likes watching Pikmin! And I'm trying to do some homework for college too...

I heard Hotline 2 is awesome. From what I read it's similar, but different, in terms of story, and the gameplay has a combo system now. And it's longer than 1.

I do love beat 'em ups and platformers myself! I would start Persona 4, but I'm kinda burnt out from 3 and I heard 4 is like 70 hours long. I'll probably start Hotline 2 this weekend though!
I knew this was a bad idea, but in the absence of any good ideas, I continued forward.
