It's a shame, because it really had the potential to be a true gem. All the right elements are there, but it's just poorly executed.

By the way, your Backloggery is pretty cool. I like how you are taking the

status so seriously. That's something you don't see often.

'Lo, I see you are playing Billy Hatcher. How are the controls working for you? I have lost tons of lives because I keep falling off cliffs or rails. There is a chance that I just really suck at this game though, but it could also be the controls. (I hope it's the latter

Also, you have to wait a few minutes before the prices go back to what they were. Civilization IV Complete is now back to 26,79€. And the Street Fighter® IV deal now looks much better with 75% off (although still unteresting knowing of future upgraded versions like Super Street Fighter IV)

What's terrible here is that, because of my policy of not adding games that I have bought but not yet received/opened/installed, I basically need to reduce my

under 50%... so i still need to beat at least one more game.

no rush, the next time I'm getting a game is Jan 14th or so (Bayonetta)...

Civilization IV was indeed tempting too. Although I don't know much about it, I've always heard positive things about it.

Thankfully they have Complete Edition too, which makes me ask myself "which one should I get ?" and not impulse buy either

Its possible to beat one game per day and be at 18

on January 3rd. Some games are not too long especially Commander Keen and Spear of Destiny. IIRC Quake I is rather short too.

. I also got myself the id Super Pack (the day before the one-day special deal

). So I think I should join your First Person Marathon and try to make some progress on the Wolfenstein, Quake, Heretic, Call of Duty series.

With the one day sales I also got myself Serious Sam HD (another FPS

), Grand Theft Auto IV, Zombie Driver, and Dead Space (despite loathing EA's DRM malwares). I'm quite tempted by the Eidos Collector Pack, but I'll wait for the last minute in case it gets a one-day special deal too (and the last minute would also mean next month and new moneys in the bank

).

. Half-Life 2 might still be old enough for your computer.
