Minion of Bak'laag: 100+ unfinished games
Invincible: 10+ beat or complete in a row
I went in 2009 and 2010 to PAX Prime. Back then I lived about a 6 hour drive from Seattle, and PAX was just beginning to get too popular to get tickets to. The first year I got a 3 day pass about 6 weeks before the event, and the next year I bought them 3 months early and only got single day passes for each of the 3 days. The next year I tried to go but they sold out minutes after going on sale, so I gave up after that. It's such a good time though, one of the most fun things I've ever done. The lines were definitely long, but if you go to the lesser known games rather than the ones you know and will play regardless, you can talk to some pretty interesting people. The cosplays are great, and the panels are always a good time. I met Greg Miller back when I was still in my IGN days so it was a big deal haha.

Hey, good for your friend though. You gotta know what you like. Even Breath of the Wild, which I loved, I put 110 hours into and I feel like I could put another 100 and still not be done. Maybe if I ever lose my job, but it's hard to justify that level of investment in ANY leisure activity, let alone a game (especially during the summer when it's nice outside and the guilt is real). I'm not sure what they could do to make them more approachable for people who want to experiment with the battle system and story but don't want to grind through 40 hours of battles to get there. Maybe an auto leveling system? Scaling enemies? I liked what the PA games did where you healed after every battle, so you didn't have to worry about saving HP and MP and such across multiple encounters as you desperately worked towards a save point. Unless your game is specifically about trying to create a sense of dread and survival, those kinds of mechanics no longer have a place in modern games. How was Persona, in the end? Worth it?

Also, jealous of your PS library management. Hopefully XB1 has something like that, though I doubt it. But yeah, good luck forgetting about Cars 2 if it's always in your library

Minion of Bak'laag: 100+ unfinished games
Invincible: 10+ beat or complete in a row
I'd love to get some kind of an import of the Fatal Frame game, Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles ... and that might be it. I bought DK Country Returns and I'm just waiting for it to ship. I skipped on it originally since I didn't love the feel of the game at PAX. But I played Tropical Freeze and it was actually pretty amazing, so I'll give the original a go. I've also heard great things about Xenoblade Chronicles but it's such a huge and long game that I really doubt I'd ever play it even if it is great. I don't have the patience for RPGs anymore. Too many hours with too little variation in gameplay. Not knocking them for people who love them, as there is definitely something soothing about playing them. But if I could finish 6 games in the amount of time it takes to beat'd better have a pretty amazing experience for me. And I just don't see that happening.

The annoying thing about the Xbox store, not sure if PS is like this, is that you can't see games in your library that you've purchased and downloaded but since deleted. So only the active games that are actually on your console show up. There is a weird roundabout way you can go to through your download history that will tell you what you used to have. It seems like it shouldn't be that hard to do it like Steam does, with a full library but the games no longer on the system are grayed out or something. Or you could filter them on and off. Maybe it's a dumb suggestion that other people don't care about, but whenever I have to delete something to make room it feels like it's not really in my collection anymore since it basically disappears from view. So backloggery is now the only true reflection of what I have since I just use the ghost icon.

Also, I hear you on knocking out systems. I've been looking up "best of" lists for the Wii and seeing whether/which games I missed out on that I should check out before I try to beat it and cross it off for good.
All hail Master Bak'laag!
