Poor baby Shaun. Wonder whatever happened to him? So far the Railroad seems like the best faction. They're not crazy techno-zealots or... crazy techno-scientists. It's cliché, but there's no chance I'm not climbing the tower. I'm not even that curious, it's just that in a video game you gotta climb. I don't know if I care much for the story. I'm all about "can a robot be peoples" psuedo-philosophical discussions, but the Genesis parallels leave me cold. "What is consciousness?" When you're not unconscious. Duh. No worries, no matter how long it takes I appreciate any reply. So far it's my game of the year as well, I'll decide that after I finish Nier Automata and I actually play Persona 5. I'm glad you are enjoying it. For me some of the fun was experimenting with what you could do, it was cool knowing that you could keep warm with a flame sword and I felt dumb everytime I used bomb arrows in the lava area. It's things like that, that makes the game so fun. You're on my list of people that I enjoy talking to here, so thanks for always being cool.

It's funny, I found Zora's Domain entirely by accident. Good luck, I hope you find it. The bird bard is cool. Also random but I was looking at my multi tap and saw I added you early on, you were number 8, guess your tastes in games and adorable avatar were too hard not to add. Sorry that sounds weird, I found it kinda funny because I talked to you for the first time a few months ago. Now I am rambling, my apologies, I also seem to have lost my point. I am so weird

I hope you enjoy his content, I happen to find him by random when looking for stuff about Resident Evil 7 and I've seen a lot of his stuff, he's pretty clean with his humor and funny, his old videos around like 2013-2014 he swears more but still acts the same but most his work is clean natural and funny.

The first like two or three years I was in backloggery my unfinished list has been pretty full and wasn't shrinking, this is mostly due to my friend sending my old games to me and I was playing Final Fantasy 14 a lot and never played my other games, but last year I decided to take a break and sign on less and less, and in that time I've been focusing on my other games and honestly I've found a high appreciation for them, after having been stuck in the MMO slog. And I've noticed lots of people have super full unfinished backlogs and I also see the reason for that is everyone using Steam and buying boat loads of games during sales, I'm strictly console/portable so it's easy to keep a neater backlog with that restriction ^^

I'll definitely keep both games in mind, more so 999 since it'll be a completely new game to me while Mass Effect I've heard a lot about in the past and I know the whole trilogy will take a while so, best to get it when I have the time, thanks again for the recommendation.

Congrats on getting the Switch ^^ I've been having fun with mine and loving it as a whole, I wish I could play Breath of the Wild, I mean I own the game but I just got off a looooong open world game of Horizon a week or so ago and I'm not ready for another grand adventure like that yet. ^^; Kinda wonder why you can't add your Switch code on this site yet?

Yeah, only one game I bought cheap like $12 that was so bad even low expectations didn't help. Poor bioware, no matter how hard they try now game will ever be "perfect". Yeah you have been real helpful and your enthusiasm shows, that makes me excited for some of the games and you always have funny comments on your progress for a lot of games. Congratulations on the Switch! I want one so bad. What you said about Zelda makes perfect sense lol, it's amazing how back then 8-bit games and 16-bit games looked so great and I stupidly said graphics could never get better. Oh young me, so naive.

Thanks, as always you have been helpful. So basically it is a case of high expectations and people being spoiled? That's good to know. When I beat the trilogy I will end up getting it.So DS version thanks. I like talking to you, you're very pleasant and friendly. Stay awesome Byakko

Aww so you won't be joining the "Resident Evil 7 scared me to death club", hee hee that's fine, might I suggest a youtuber that may give you an interesting take on the gameplay and plenty of comedy to sooth the atmosphere of it. [Link] there you go, his videos usually pick me up when I'm down or need a good laugh, hopefully you enjoy it as well. ^^

So it sounds like the problem with ME:A, is people had overly high expectations for the game? I've heard the third game messed everything up because all your choice from the first game up until then was pretty rock solid and made a difference until the ending which took the control out of your hand and made your choices pretty meaningless, if I'm remembering all the old rants as the were told. I guess I'll try it out after I've tried the past games even if it doesn't tie together, I like to have the stories and settings in some kind of order. And as far as being mediocre, that's kind of the norm, very few times do companies try anything new or different because no one wants to take that risk and lose out. Also thanks for the explanation ^^ I wasn't expecting it and you did a good job of keeping it vague and spoiler-free.

Hmmm sounds like I need to check out the series as a whole whenever I get some of these games off the back burner which won't be anytime soon it seems, kind of a good problem to have. Stuff like Yoshi's Wooly World, Final Fantasy 15, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 (that games been on the back burner for years...) if you looked at my unfinished it has like 5 games, that's not entirely true, I do have some games I bought but haven't added yet because they aren't even open, I don't want to bombard my backlog.

Thank you again conversation with you has been pleasant. ^^

How are you liking Mass Effect Andromeda? A friend of mine is obsessed with the series and I'd ask him how the game is but he is super biased. Is it any good? Oh yeah, I have been meaning to ask you, what is the best place to play 999? By that I mean console/handheld/pc

You seem to like 999 so maybe I should give it a try myself, I think the most visual novel I've dealt with was Asago Academy on PC, pretty much a fan made game, umm Persona kinda counts there, and I've watched that weird....Bird Dating Sim game, never played it but it was a funny watch, I did play something on DS I think it was...oh yeah Hotel Dusk Room 215, also Trace Memory which were really good games. I'll give it a try by your recommendation. ^^ Awww *grins* you don't like horror games? I kinda do, I played through Resident Evil 7 and I'll admit I could only play like an hour to 2 hours a day because my nerves couldn't take it, I'm not bothered by jumpscares and such, what gets me is audio ambience, the quietness and hearing things around you that can't be seen *shudders* Once I clear my backlog some I'll give 999 a whirl.

Hee hee, see I watched someone do the Pacifist run, I don't think I'd have the patience to do all that, though it's good you don't do the Genocide run because some of the bosses are extremely difficult, I actually still haven't beat the Genocide run, I hit a road block on one of them and can't seem to beat it then again I already know all the endings and was just doing it just to do it so no real loss there. Though I do suggest you watch the endings and other playthroughs because you actually get some story/lore bits you wont get in the other runs, but that's only if your interested, don't think you'd lose sleep over not doing it.

Echotale does seem really good, I've only dealt with comic dubs and it seems pretty well done, I wish they'd just do a fangame of it since reading comics and such aren't quite my thing, but I'll say it looks pretty good and is well written from what I've seen.

I don't really have any motivation to play it but is Mass Effect Andromeda really as bad as everyone says? I'm only interested because I was planning one day to get the Mass Effect Trilogy pack, because the series seems interesting, I'm just curious did they mess it up like I hear they did the ending of the third game?

I've seen 999 talked about a lot and praised pretty well, I wasn't sure if it was something I'd interested in playing but I guess giving it a look won't hurt, to be honest I know little about it, I THINK it's visual novel type if I'm not mistaken? But PSVita comes out with them so much I'm probably confusing it with one of them. But she does look adorable and cute as your avatar.

Hee hee, it does, I agree, when I played the first time I was going for a genocide route, because I watched Projared do the pacifist run so I wanted to do my normal morality run of following chaos or the bad side, though don't confuse it, I'm not a fan of evil characters but I do LOVE antiheroes, so I usually follow those routes because usually the good guy is too good and stupid ^^; I believe the best characters are the one who have their own goals which are always tested by both sides, looks evil in the good guys eyes but willing to help the hero if they share a common goal. ^^;; errr I'm rambling. Though you can do a genocide run or neutral still and be fine, the game does steal away the pacifist run if you've done any other kind of run, basically meaning your first run better be Pacifist one or you won't get another chance at it.

I'm glad you caught on to the avatar and banner, it's actually from a comic series called Echotales a sort of AU to Undertale, I like Echo!Frisks design and the story is a bit darker, and San's is already awesome in Undertale but G!Sans is a good take on him too, just obviously a bit darker.

Thank for replying and dealing with my ramblings. ^^
