Minion of Bak'laag: 100+ unfinished games
Consider Yourself a Hero: Majority of games are beaten
Treasure Hunter: 1000+ games
On Fire: 3 beat or complete in a row
The only ending that's even remotely satisfying is the Neutral one, almost to a canonical point. It's much longer, you play through aspects of both Chaos and Law, and the ending itself is more illuminating. That said, it still isn't all that stellar and a lot goes unsaid, plus the fact that it's just unfair for the Chaos and Law routes. Honestly, I feel like the endgame was rushed. Maybe you feel the same?

Good game, either way. Had a lot of fun with it and the demon fusion never got old.

I felt the same way after beating VLR.

Heya. It's been a huge while, hasn't it?

Just wanted to appologies for never sending you any emails, I'm super busy here, and I'm figuring that you're in the same boat. And as time passes by, I keep getting more stuff on my plate.

So yeah, I was browsing your GBA backloggery for inspiration, and I saw the special thanks for Minish Cap on top of the 5 star rating. You're welcome, it's the least I could do for you, and I'm glad that you loved it.

See you around

The one route thing is one of the reasons I say Other M isn't a good game even in its own right--it's incredibly amateurish design. Pac-man has more non-linearity than Other M does.

There's not a whole bunch one can spoil about the Primes, but I understand your position anyway. Sometimes it feels like we read so much about games now (with the internet and all) that when it comes out we hardly have anything new to find out ourselves, even in terms of gameplay elements. Prime 1 and 2 are the sort of stories that don't progress at all during the game (i.e., Super Mario anything), but Corruption has some minor development that you can see coming miles and miles away.

Wind Waker's moving along nicely. The sailing really is ridiculous, but the fact that you're on a flat earth (you can't warp around the map from the right side to the left) is ridiculous. I've actually died two...maybe three times, all to the Hylian guards that awaken after you get the master sword. I blame the ridiculous amount of invincibility time they get, which is especially noticeable when you knock them down--for nearly the entire time they're getting back up, you can't hurt them again. Also, moblin+dark nut tag team isn't cool. wtf, man. I forgot how good the combat is, though. Being able to pick up things and the parry strike are both very nifty additions, but it's a shame only very few enemies are affected by them (and on a normal run you need hardly pay mind to strategy)

Right now I'm stuck in that goddamn Forsaken Fortress round 2. I get to the second floor of this room that I think had a lantern hanging from the ceiling before (it's behind a series of obstacles that need to be pounded in with the hammer), but there's nothing whatsoever that I can find to get me to the other side. I looked for like an hour, and nothing. boooooo

Also, booo@nintendo for A) delaying 3DS until March (now what will I get for christmas?) and B) getting rid of this piece of art: [Link]

And hypocritical though it may seem, I'm actually not too enthused for the Gameboy/Color virtual console. It had its gems (we talked about the Oracles/Awakening), but outside of a few first party games, I can't really think of anything that I'd want to play today. And I'm no graphics-whore, but those early GB games were hideous.
Sorrowful be the heart, Penitent One.
