Consider Yourself a Hero: Majority of games are beaten
Would you recommend Severed? It's on a sale in a bundle on psn now, and i'm thinking about buying it.

On Fire: 3 beat or complete in a row
Confused: Playing 10+ games at once
Honestly? Bravely Default is probably one of my favorite JRPGs in recent memory. Only issue I had with it when I first got it was the repetitive nature of the last half of the game - though I'll refrain from talking about it here to avoid spoiling anyone. I hope to get through it this time around, though! I'm about to make it to Chapter 5 once again.

Afterwards, it'll be on to Bravely Second. I didn't wanna start that until I finished Bravely Default to avoid spoiling the ending of the first game for myself.

Herald of Bak'laag: 500+ unfinished games
Treasure Hunter: 1000+ games
On Fire: 3 beat or complete in a row
Thank you !

Yep, took me a quite a while to finally Runescape. Actually started back in 2006! Though I stopped playing in 2012 because I was growing bored. I remember playing it back in elementary school when everyone did, but I was the only one dedicated (or addicted) to go for 99 everything, and after 10 long years I finally did .

Minion of Bak'laag: 100+ unfinished games
It's not a bad game, though I think it would be better without all the linearity. The insane spike in difficulty for the bonus content is also a bit staggering.

Maybe I will look into Stranger of Sword City, although I might actually buy Etrian Odyssey IV to satisfy my first person dungeoncrawl-craving, since it's only 10 Euro on the Online Store. Even if Stranger of Sword Citys Artstyle looks way better, I'll admit that.

I also like handheld games more than console games, especially RPG's. I guess it's because console RPG's tend to be so slow, with all the long battle-animations and load-times. I was never able to get through Skies of Arcadia and Final Fantasy IX for that reason.

SMT Strange Journey is still sealed, I guess i'll never open it, so I started SMT IV, which I really like. I didn't even know, that there was a Pal Version of Raidou. A while ago, I was searching for the PS2 SMT games in several Gamestops, but I could only find P4, Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga 1, so now my search continues.

What do you like so much about SMT II? Is it the story? I guess the gameplay is somewhat outdated now. I've heard it's a direct sequel to SMT I and you need to have played it to understand II. Is that true? Is the translation good?

Would you recommend Stranger of Sword City then? My problem with many japanese first person dungeoncrawlers is, that I mostly hate the artwork ( like in Etrian Odyssey ), but Stranger of Sword City's art looks decent. The first-person SMT's are the only ones with a really good artstyle, I can even tolerate the chibi-look of Persona Q ( even though its technically the same style as Etrian Odyssey )

How did you play SMT 2? Did you play the patched Snes-Rom, or the japanese IOS-Version?

I would love to play SMT Strange Journey, but I can't bring myself to open the shrinkwrap. Even though I'm not a collector, the game is so rare in germany and it took me 3 years to find it for a reasonable price, I just can't open it. I should have bought a used copy, not a brand new one.
Happy Shin Megami Tensei 25th Anniversary!
