Yea, it's a classic albeit a short one. It's kind of weird how I only finished it a couple of weeks ago. First played it in 2008 or so, got stuck about 3/4 of the way through and quit. Since then, the internet has basically spoiled everything about it's story, so I didn't feel the need to play it ever again.

But thanks to my backloggery page I did, and it still was a fun experience - just one of the reasons why I like this side

Hey there, sorry; sometimes I don't check my BL for days or weeks - real life crap and all that

Yeah, the story in Mafia II wasn't great... I think they were trying to be subversive but it ends up kind of aimless and frustrating. I couldn't for life of me remember a single one of the mob bosses after finishing the game. The "bromance" between Vito and Joe is the one thing that keeps that plot alive Gameplay-wise it is everything I expected from a Mafia sequel and you gotta love that 1950s style and atmosphere the radio soundtrack is pretty damn anachronistic but also very awesome

I'm actually playing through the DLC right now - first one seems very lazily put together but it is a good excuse to spend more time in that world.

So are you still playing Rise of the Argonauts? I've never even heard of that one but the setting is pretty intriguing...

Spider-Man was fun, yes A bit wonky in the control and camera department but that's to be expected from a game that old. Still fun to crawl up walls and ceilings, beat up bad guys, and swing around. Good amount of variety in the levels too and some interesting boss battles. Good clean classic PS1 fun.
