I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it never really evolved beyond this. You get some different weapons and there's some stealth sections, but it's mostly a collection of unoriginal game ideas wrapped up in an admitably pretty package.

"Character Episodes are complete ****." It's funny because today I watched a video of a very big Eddy Gordo fan playing his episode and the corresponding episode from Lucky Chloe and well... he was dumbstruck to say the least.

Edit: Yes! I'm a big fan of Max and the Yo! Videogames crew. I realize they made the story all about the Mishimas, and that's appropriate since they are at the center of the ongoing saga, everyone else got the shaft from what I understand. And poor Paul has fallen the furthest... he drew against Kazuya in the first game and beat Ogre in the third game, but since then he's become a joke character feuding with Kuma/Panda.

Thanks, I actually just got through Blood Omen today. I've dealt with worse from what you mentioned (the camera is fine - you can easily zoom out and in to see the action). The criticisms I had with the game were more fundamental to the gameplay and how it doesn't change enough as the game goes on.

Edit: I'm planning on playing Soul Reaver, though I don't currently own it. I rented it once ages ago (as evidenced by the fact that I rented it) and while the scenario seemed neat, I don't recall getting that into the gameplay during my short period playing it. Anyway, after that I'll see how I feel about things and decide what follow ups I want to play.

So far I still prefer Solid Snake, but MGS 3 has some of the funniest Codec conversations of the series.
