It comes together wonderfully. It also serves as a reminder to me that I really need to get around to playing the Plague Knight DLC.

The Backlog rabbit hold brought me here, and I always have to take the time to salute a Shovel Knight theme. Looks great!

Oh, nice impressions. I didn't know about Mareanie. It would be at my team as water pokémon, but fortunately I caught a Popplio at GTS trade, and decided to stick with it. My current team is rowlet, brionne, rockruff and charjabug. What team did you use to beat the game? Here I will copy and paste my impressions that I send to a fellow backlogger.

"Pokémon S/M is weird. Definitely does not appear as a traditional Pokémon game. It looks more like an Jrpg, full of treasured box monsters (in this case, berry fruits pokémons), full of dialogues, more story-based, way more challenging than XY/ORAS.

I thought the game would be too much childish. In fact it is, but the difficulty was increased. They leveraged the exp share (it gives the same amount of exp, but the wild pokémon are underleveled). The trainers' pokémon usually have a bit more level than the wild ones and this results in a more challenging and pleasuring game (ORAS was great, but it lacked difficulty).

There are 300 different monsters to catch, and there are looooads of different pokémon to catch in each area. Each island has its own pokémon. The scenarios are kind of big, but it changes abruptely from one to another (you arrive at an island, then visit a ranch, then some thermals, then a volcano).

The camera looks awful, it is too much near your character. You can hardly see the cities/scenarios. But the battle camera looks great. It's almost as if you were inside the battle, so you can see exactly the different sizes of pokémon. This was a great addition to the game.

Oh, and I almost forgot. There are loads of tutorials in the game. OMG.

So these were some of my main first impressions (I am about 13 hours in). It's a more jrpg pokémon experience. At first I didn't like at all, but when you reach the second island, you start to like it. I think it has potential to be as great as Pokémon B/W were."
