☆★★★★ Kind of similar to Rusty Lake Roots. You move between zones and outside of the post game, you don't move back. Just solve the puzzles and move onto the next area to unravel the story. It's all simple stuff. I appreciate how it tied into the previous games. Again, the ARG stuff isn't for me. I did do it all this time just to see what it was all about. It looks like we are all set up for the next game. A good, short entry in the series. Took a little over 2 hours including all the post game.

☆★★★★ A different take than the first DLC. This one is a new area of the world we get to explore. It's smaller than the main game's areas, but it's quite beautiful. The main quest involving Leviathan has a couple strong moments. The side quests, which continue after the main story, are pretty good in their own right. Both new abilities (Leviathan and spoiler) are not to my liking. I thought it was a solid addition to the game.

☆★★★★ It's a co-op experience similar to We Were Here. Two players have working in different areas to solve puzzles and unravel a mystery. You swap between a Cube Escape style to a 3D puzzle box style ala The Room series. I played both sides of the story. The puzzles are easy, which is nice because these co-op style games can be frustrating otherwise. Somehow ends up as one of the better games in the series. Vibes. Good puzzles. Set up for the next game. All good stuff.

I'm pretty positive there's at least a partial translation for it. I'm not sure if that's in game or those were videos that they posted.

Edit: Check the videos section at the bottom.

There's also a japanese guide that you can use google translate with.

Most random thing ever, but just fyi that this exists and I'm sure you'll want to at least check it out. Saw the news on the Legends Station homepage. I didn't know anything about it at all.

Oof see that's those qol updates people were talking about right there lol.

As an adult I can't deal with losing that much progress. Those times I killed myself on accident I lost like 20 minutes each time and that was bad enough. (and that was only one floor, if I was fighting enemies on the way to the boss) I can't imagine potentially losing an hour or more.

Yeah P4 has better versions of the spells as well. It seemed that if any enemy was weak to light/dark that the spells would almost always instant kill them too. No one I actually kept on my party was weak to either and I don't know if the remaining characters I didn't use had a weakness.

I actually never had that happen to me in P4. Somehow it always either failed or they "survived a fatal wound" with 1hp.

However, throughout the game I killed myself 3 times on accident due to an enemy casting reflect on themselves when I wasn't paying attention. On the second to last boss in the game I did it twice in a row. I was pissed lol.

Edit: Also in P4 you're given the option to retry the floor you're on or go back to the title screen. Is it like that in 3 or are you just dead?

I guess I can understand that. But man, sometimes old rpgs hurt.

But why?

The second Reload came out people started talking shit on the original games. The QOL improvements Reload added were things that the series started adding with P4. The side content from both versions of P3 is also being added to Reload as dlc.

I know I'm all for playing games I already have, but it's a little different when it's a 80 hour, old school dungeon crawling jrpg. It seems like a huge waste of time. Especially for someone who has the money to just buy the far superior version.

Btw are the multiple endings in Digimon Survive easy to obtain all of?
Is it going to be a save and reload, then choose a different option sort of thing?

Also beat Rusty Lake Paradise, but it's not letting me add the game for some reason. Throwing an error. I'll try again later. Through with the first chapter of Paradox as well.

Technically I beat both games today. I won't let that ending in P4 go though. I don't even think this is a "it's not beat until it's complete scenario" so much as a "it's not beat until no one is dead" scenario.

Oh dang that sucks.

One of my japanese carts has issues kind of like yours too. Sometimes when it's pushed in further it'll read. Of course, the problem is that that can also pop the game card out, so I have to find the sweet spot. I had read online that if they're left in the console for a long period of time it can cause that problem. I would assume that's not the case with your game though, unless maybe it was bought secondhand.
