XS Games according to my disk.

I picked it up many years ago. I believe it came out as a budget priced release in the dying days of the PS2.

Its a lot of fun though in a contra meets brawler veign.

Glad to see another person here appreciates Sonic Youth! So far everyone was complimenting my avatar and completely ignoring my banner!

Glad to see you made it through Harmony. What did you think of it? It's a good game...but overall my least favorite Metroidvania. The Castle is just too annoying for me. And the magic system is really a step down from Circle of the Moon.

Still, it's pretty fun I think.

Yeah, everything about Aria is better than Dawn. It's kind of crazy how they made a nearly perfect, moody, awesome GBA game and then turned it into a watered down anime for the sequel.

I know I wasn't part of the convo, but I just thought i'd point out that Soma is waaay cooler in Aria than Dawn!

In fact nearly everything about Aria is better than Dawn in my opinion!

If your current Backloggery collection is accurate, then you're missing the best GBA Castlevania game... HoD is overall not very impressive, but Aria of Sorrow is a fantastic game, not just for the GBA but in general.
