Leone: Do we have connection again?
Bubo: We've got it back to normal.
Leone: Good. Sorry for not updating for the last month, you guys. Lots of stuff going on with school prevented me from updating as often along with some emotional anxiety. But, I'm just fine & fancy free. But, once all the schooling goes by, I've got a free summer to relax & do some of the games I wanted to do, like Persona 3 & Pokemon X. (Don't worry, Netwa. Our trip will be here soon.) But, other than that, I've been going through the Bioshock games, doing some research & doing some more exploring with D&D. campaign, even if my personality can kinda get overwhelming for a couple of the players. Some of the highlights in our adventure include:
Saving a princess
Me getting bopped in the nose by an angry guy with a glaive
Traveling for several sessions worth in the forest
Me getting bit by a werewolf & a vampire in the same night (& surprisingly still human)
Getting scared out the wazoo when a red dragon appeared
Meeting a sphinx & a unicorn
One of our party members turned out to be another dragon all along
Tragic back-stories
An undead soldier popped out of freaking nowhere.
A flying skull named Morte with some cutting words & redemption.
But still, I've set up an interesting character to play as & I can't wait for the next session to progress the story. Let's just say that it's gonna get real dark.
Also, I've decided to cut off the WIDN playlists on Youtube. Looking up interesting videos to use for them is just not as fun as they was, so I'm stopping that for now. But, what I AM going to be doing is another OCR playlist for my birthday in a couple months, so look out for that. It's been a while since I did one, anyway. So, other than a little restructuring, not much is going on.

Again, very sorry for not updating. Hope to do more in the future.

Leone: Oh, Netwa. I've got a little present for you! *Netwa sits up from the main carpet, intrigued* Now I know that's it has been a long time coming, but I'm finally going to finish up Pokemon X with ya, because *Pulls out airline tickets* I just got a full-on Round-trip to Alola for Pokemon Sun! Finally! All I need to do now is to get a few more things packed, along with making a call to my brother about his connections to this Rancher, some years back. *Turns around to see the Shin Megami Tensei Fans on the Internet* Oh, crap. I forgot to do Persona 3 that much, haven't I? Now that 5 is out in America. P5 looks to be my favorite in the series to me, right now. (Especially with the color red, AmIRight!?) But just to let you know, I did went & get P4G for the Vita & hope to play that one more often.

Other than that, not much has happened. Got on to Spring Break & saw a bunch of movies. Kong: Skull Island was action packed, but should be rated R, IMO. The Boss Baby, I went in just from pure curiosity & to see if it'll burn. The visual style blew me away on the imagination bits, which kept me entertained through the whole thing, even if the story is 1-note joke only. The last was Power Rangers, which I'm a fan of. I went in kind of worried, because I seen the original & it did not scream to me "Epic Movie", but for what it is, it was fun. They say that the directors had enough material for 6 films? IDK, but with the ending, maybe.

The last thing is that my Backlogger-versary is coming up & I'm curious. Last year, I created a playlist of Overclocked Remix detailing my life as a gamer, but I'm stumped on this year. The only vague ideas that I have is to create a IRL song playlist on who I am as a person or create another OCR playlist, detailing my D&D group using Final Fantasy songs. Let me know if there's any ideas I could do or I should do something completely different.

I'll see you in the next update!

It is odd to see someone else play Toy Story 2 in 2017. Personally, I find it impressive as to how well the game has held up. The later levels are a little "eh"... but other than that, the game is fine.

Leone:
Greetings ! It's time for my monthly WIDN update & I'm sorry I'm a little late, but Bubo, Netwa & I have just entered into a brand new realm of gaming we have never explored before, Dungeons & Dragons!
Bubo: More specifically, the newest 5th edition of the game. Long history, a little complicated.
Leone: Granted, I've found a solution to get myself & the others into the game itself. You see, being all alone with no one to play with physically really grinds my gears, so I took off through the Internet & I found a site called Roll20.net. What it essentially does for me was to find online versions of D&D using the in-game map creator that the DM or dungeon master can create. They list the games for people to start playing with, especially a option for new players willing to learn.
Bubo: Also, thanks to my searching, I also discovered an down-loadable Excel Spreadsheet on creating a D&D character with ease, thus allowing ourselves to be in the game!
Leone: Right! But in order to enter this realm, we had to transform ourselves in order to fit the more Magical side of the realm. In the "official" races, my Lion kind is not available, so I decided to become a Half-Elf Paladin & let me tell you, not having tails to keep balance takes some getting used to.
Bubo: I'm the least changed, losing my metal body for a natural owl one instead. Though, with a little help from the backstory (& pecking at the DM's head a little) I managed to keep my voice.
Leone: Netwa got the biggest transformation, for he's my deity, the Lion king, Nobanion. Granted, in the official rulebooks, there's no mention of his name, but I managed to sneak him in by saying that he came from, "a long forgotten realm", a reference to a world of D&D where it was at. I got to say, for starting out, it's really amazing the level of freedom you can do. But in my playtime with my group, I found out that I think the biggest hurdle for D&D for people to get over is the paperwork & math. No one likes math, I really don't either. That & you need to find a group to begin with, but once you do, it clicks & you do things you could never do. Hell, I love my group so much that I had Bubo make a play-list created for each of the PC's! (Let me know if you are curious about it so I can post on here!)

So, other than that, that's about it! See you next time!

Leone: Greetings, heroes! It's February, which means warmer & longer days, no more heavy rains, a new W.I.D.N. & getting into Spring, my favorite season! But, it's still a little cold. So, not quite there yet.
I've changed the color scheme to reflect this month & it looks really good, in my opinion. I've never really been a big fan of Valentine's day, myself. But, I do understand how some people like it & I'm not the kind of Lion to ruin other people's fun. (Although, the classic Spongebob episode where Patrick goes crazy over V-Day will always be one of my favorites, so there is something for me. In a really nerdy way. )

As for what's going on right now. I'm back in School, but with only 1 class to manage so that little stress can be made about that. It's Pre-Calculus, but we failed the last time not from not understanding the material, but lost a lot from tests, which are my weakness. But, I feel that I will succeed with flying colors this time!

As for gaming-related news, (finally) I've noticed that I have been on this weird JRPG kick lately, with Dragon Quest, Persona 3 & of course Kingdom Hearts. Though, I think I kicked myself in the pants for doing that because when I played DDDHD, it didn't "feel" right, ya know? Like I'm on a burnout on JRPG's for it, despite playing it & being excited. The only time I didn't feel the burn was .2, but only because of the graphics! So that's why I have not been updating on my RPGs, like Pokémon, as of late. (That & freaking Overwatch taking over as my "Junk Food" game)

Speaking of Pokémon, I completely forgot to tell you something important! Come here, Pyroar. *Pyroar walks to Leone, standing beside him* Since I've met you in X, I've named you after myself in the game world, but here, I've called you just "Pyroar". After spending time with you, I've decided to give you a new "real" name to work with both worlds. Thinking about it, I didn't want to call you the cliché names, like Simba or Mufasa. No, I've decided to call you "Ntwadumela". (n-twy-du-may-la for pronunciation) It means in African Bemba, "He Who Greets With Fire". *Looking back to you* I know it's a mouthful to say, so for a nickname to call him, it's "Netwa"

(BTW, the cover image on my page. Netwa's "date" is really his friend & nothing more. Nothing to hint over here. )

Until next time!

Oh that's okay

Yes, I really like 06 and apart from the all the glitches it's a great game.

The arrangements in Sonic Generations are so awesome!

Yes, the first one is on iOS in the US :D I don't know about the iOS remake though as I haven't played it. I played the original Snes version.

Oh yes, the translation is very weird and I really wonder why they decided to go with that... I played it in Japanese and everyone's talking just well... normally XD Of course there are some phrases and words that a King would say but yeah... Apparently they also went with this kinda translation in Dragon Quest II - VI

Maybe you'll have a better time with Persona 3 than I did. Me and that game just didn't jive well.

Congratulations on the Vita! I would love one, but my PSTV currently does a good job at cheaply allowing me to play the games. Those memory cards are so darn expensive!
As for suggestions, try out the Danganronpa stuff. Sure, you can get them on Steam, but these games make sense to play in small bursts.
